May I add. Gaian admins and artists must make more items each month so that the members keep interested and have something new to spend their gold on.

Another thing, shimi brought to my attention. Most of gaia are teens. Well gaiateens are just like real ones. They want to make money and buy things.Gaia is seen as a job in their eyes, because Quote: Job = making money , Gaia = Making gold It feels good to bring a bit of money back to your family

Another reason found. Is to make friends. No one wants to be really alone do they.So internet friends sooth that pain temporarly or permanitly.

Yet another. When bored, it's something fun to do.For those who do not like sports,don't go out much or are anti-social.Usually the internet makes you more outgoing because you can not see the person you are talking to fully.

Also, everyone loves to show off stuff they have made.Art ... poems etc. Also able to do on gaia. You can talk about issues and such that you dont like. Even further people like to give feedback to sites , because they like to see something they want happen.

For those who love to read. Also able to do on gaia, well I guess you would have to , so you could read this. Anyway, another good point or addicting part of gaia. You can find something for you. There virtually is everything one person could ever want to discuss and chat about.

Touching on the houses.You can now do room design to even set up something like your own room. I mean who wouldnt want to live in their own room ... on gaia? Then show off be like "This is what my real life room looks like cool " Spark a conversation with someone.
You could even learn a basic skill of room design

Now introducing. Gaia Casino and Fishing. Wha...? Another part of gaia you could get easily addicted to. On the casino you win tickets and cash in for wonderful prizes.
Now with fishing. For those who love fishing, seriously.What could be better than sitting at home,... fishing.Having old memorys of fishing with your family. And a plus ... earning MORE gold.

A small world. Wouldn't it be great to find someone on gaia that lived like right down the block from you. I have done this before also. I have found people so close to my house, it's not funny.
Next for the business type. Who love to find things in the vend for cheap then have the thrill of selling it for more. Why do it?Its fun and you get gold.
Concerning quests.I find them weird,why not just say "Hey I want this item" I guess quest is more fancy or something. Anyway, questing is like going for a goal which you also can achieve on gaia.

To represent. Who doesnt love being patriotic about something they love. Guilds,issues etc. Also gaiavalid.
And what about these damn emots. I mean come on, someone has to find one they like.A curtasy of BBcode and PHP.
Class art.For a few 1000's you can get quality ... even professional art here on gaia.Its amazing, gold you have been just zooming around on the net for going for something that could actually be worth something some day.Easy money here and in the real world

If I may intrude on your conversation with yourself (which has been going on for almost an hour, may I add xp ), people like gaia because of the privacy. This is basically a more specific example: I know many people who make threads in the GD and Life Issues to get problems resolved, because they don't feel they can talk to anyone in real life 3nodding So, Gaia can provide confidentiality in embarrassing or personal subjects. I mean really, who actually likes being embarrassed? sweatdrop -disappears- ninja
