Here's a thought i've been entertaining for a little while. There is only one spiritual being in the entire universe. now before you all point out that monotheism is not a new idea allow me to explain. I mean to say not that my God is the only one but that there is only one. So all forms of religion actualy cater to the same being. polytheisitic religions have broken up this being to worship diferent aspects of it individualy. other monotheistic religions simply call it by different names. in the end it's still the same entity. thus there is no need for fighting over religion.

I still choose to worship in a christian manner but i'd like to hear your views because this has been nagging at me for weeks.

Well a lot of religions are based off the fact they know there is a greater being but then they want it to be what they want it to be so each generation would change a religion slightly untill they create a god in thier mind that is nothing like the real God.. so no matter what they call him they believe that god is different to how we believe he is so there for it connot be the same god anymore and one of which is just make believe and the other is the true God of how he really is.. i hope that made sense :/

religion is very complex, I say do it christian way because that's what the bible tells us but didn't religions might have one god but still its a different by rules and meaning and stuff like that so I try to advoid that stuff.

I have thought like this a few times. I think it is very plausible that all religions worship the same being, but I also think that it is very plausible that none of them worship the right being. I think that pretty much all religion worships their own way and not God's way. Even in my church people contradict what the bible says. Sure I don't live perfectly by the bible, and I'm saying that that's what's happened. We worship our image of God rather than God himself

i feel it just has to be noted that it isnt what god is greatest or what god is THE god, but it is that there is ONE God...it doesnt really matter what name he goes by.
the important thing i feel is that you just have faith, regardless of what you have faith in...
