Hi im new to the xbox360 and need to know if the usb ports support ipod for music and how to get pics on my xbox360...

It supports iPods, but you got to download an update for it manually in the marketplace. I dont know how to get pics on the xbox.

If you have windows media player 11 you can turn on file sharing between your 360 and computer so you can play music thats on you computer through your PC, you can also watch videos and movies that are on your computer and view pictures or make the pictures your background.

Also how much does it cost to rather buy the upgrades from microsoft directly and get a disk than to uplink it to the computer?

*dont realy trust mah computer since people in my house tend to get viruses stressed and due to the fact its realy used up and might not be able to handle the download......

um the only way to get media player if by buying a new OS or online for free. besides if download from Microsoft
