 Golden eyes stared down at the thinning layer of snow covering the once lush plain. "Is it..going into hiding..?" The stallion asked himself, lowering his snout to the ground to take a wiff of the grass that was beginning to show underneath it.
Today was a wonderful day. The sky had stopped crying those cold tears (snow), the sun was up and cheerful (sunny) and there were a few of the sky ponds (clouds) above head. Overall, the gray stallion measured it to be a good day.
Sirius had been slowly walking on the thin layer of snow, his eyes looking over every feature of the plains. He hadn't come down from the mountains very much, he normally stayed within the forest during his life..so a lot of this was new to him.

Glow Heart walked along the river bank, smiling lightly. The day was beautiful and she was in a wonderful mood. Sun and a almost perfectly blue sky...and the sounds of a sweet day. The mare smiled as she hummed a small song, watching birds as she made her way to her typical flower bed to lay among the flowers and birds and bees...and to relax...

Sirius had been walking for at least a good hour now, thirst was becoming a problem. He wasn't built like his brother..he knew that much, but he could easily match him in strength.
The gray stallion wandered closer to the river banks, opposite from the mare. Nor did he see the primarily white mare resting among the flowers. He craned his neck forward, taking a drink. Sirius lifted his head, he didn't know how he had not realized of the other presence until after he had taken a drink, but he decided..perhaps it was best not to make himself known.
And with that stated firmly in his mind he went back to drinking.

Glow smelled the soft flowers around her, smiling. However the walk was in deed a bit long...and she was in deed a tad thirsty. She stood and made her way to the river before she froze, seeing an unknown stallion. Her eyes widdened and she blinked, silently. Unfortunatly, finding herself unable to move she was unable remove her eyes and ended up stareing at the stallion.

Sirius raised his head after having his fill of water, seeing the mare staring at him made him a tad uneasy. He blinked, tilting his head and moving his hooves to get a better balance on the stones under his hooves.
'Why is she staring at me..?' He asked himself, 'Do..do I have water dripping from the side of mouth..?'

The light colored mares face instently flushed and she looked down quickly. "Um...i...um...i'm sorry...i didn't mean to...to stare..." she stuttered quickly.
She mentally smacked herself. Why was she so shy...so uneasy around stallions...Why couldn't she get over it? It made her seem so...so rude. and she hated it. She was afrid to look back up at the stallion.

"No, no, it's alright. I was just afraid you were staring because I had water dripping from my mouth of a fish on head..or something." Sirius replied calmly and smoothly. The mare had stuttered; she was nervous.
Sirius was beginning to wonder where all of the stallions were..He had met Apple-oosa..but other then that he had only met mares: Rainbow Chaser, Kaylanna and now this mare.

"oh no...not at all...i'm so sorry...really i am...i didn't mean to stare..." she glanced up. "I'm just...well..." she looked down and whispered, "I get nervous everytime i see a stallion..." she whispered lightly, not looking back. She waited for laughter...a snort...the sound of the stallion leaving...anything...

"Really now..? That's nothing to be embarassed of at all. In fact..it sounds...normal to me." Sirius stated, "I get nervous around just about everything myself..except fish, bears, and deer..that's it..Birds are my real problem though." The stallion said with a short laughter at the end, "I can't seem to keep myself steady around them.."

Glow's head shot up. "You...you get nervous too?" she blinked, surprised. "Really? You mean i'm not the only one?" no one else she had ever spoken to seemed even a little nervous around anything..."Um...my...my name is Glow Heart...its a pleasure to meet you...oh..um...y-you can call me Glow if you like..." she said, trying to calm herself down. There was no need to be nervous, b ut now...she was more...happy...excited...that there was somone else who got nervous around others as well...

"Sirius," The stallion then realized how stupid that must have sounded, "My name is Sirius..I do have a nickname of Siri though if you would prefer that." He carefully waded across the river to the side the mare was on, being extremely cautiously not to slip on any of the rocks, "Pleasure to meet you Glow Heart," The gray stallion said politely, giving a short, polite bow. He regained his posture, "And yes, I do get nervous..normally around birds though."

Glow smiled and tilted her head a little. "May i ask why you get nervous around birds?" she asked softly. She began to feel more at ease. THere was really no reason to be nervous, she noted. Still, she couldn't help it and a small part of her continued to feel the odd twinge of nerves.

"I do suppose being nervous around birds seems rather..strange or silly doesn't it? Well..the ralons and the beaks..they just kind of..make me freak when I see them. I suppose my nervousness could be fear, but I refuse to go near most birds, unles they're finches or some kind of harmless..small bird." Sirius stated, his voice small with a shade of embarassment at his confession. "I suppose it's silly isn't it?"

Glow shook her head quickly. "No, not at all, it makes sence. I mean its more rational then my...well...its kind of a fear...of stallions...really i get so nervous i just freeze up..i mean its not as if somthing bad has ever happened to me before..i just...i just get scared...and then...and then i talk to them a bit and things get a little better." she looked more then a little embarssed. "To be honest i have never really talked to anyone about it...let alone a stallion...i mean...i always thought i would be laughed at...." she shook her head and sighed.

"That matter is nothing to laugh at, I don't see why anyone would really. And if someone did..well..they deserve to be kicked." Sirius stated, smiling slightly. "I suppose it's good to talk about those kind of things, but sometimes..you just don't want to. Am I right?"
