I've donated on impulse before. There was this girl in a CB thread who was obviously very new but very polite and quite a nice sort, overall. She had nothing but the peasant dress, so I gave her Morgana's Dress (and possibly the hat as well, I can't remember). It felt...uplifting, and I wasn't using the items at the time anyway, so it wasn't such a big loss.
