Has anyone ever heard of the iwfl? There a women's football league w/ teams across america and a few in canada. I am really trying to publicise it, and if you could help then that would be great but plz tell me first. yah. 3nodding

I didn't know about the IWFL until some of the Minnesota players were on a news broadcast the one night. At first, I couldn't believe it, but once the shock went away I was happy. I think it is so awesome that women have a professional football league. If I was still able to play, I'd try for it.

I think that's great! My sister wants to play football when she is 8. She loves to play with us boys. I wonder if there is a team in Utah? confused

I doubt this will ever be big. The only women sports that are big are beach volleyball.

Even though the WNBA is extremely unpopular in the US, it's way more popular than woman's football, which is almost unknown in this country.

Basketball, softball, soccer, swimming, gymnastics, volleyball, and many other sports are more popular for women, than football.

But so did every other unknown sport. I doubt womens football will be that popular in the United States. Womens rugby and soccer are more popular in other countries.

...The main reason I don't think that womens football will be popular at all in America, is because there is are no college teams. Womens college basketball is pretty popular, and the WNBA became popular because of that.
