Fender mim Basses Good or bad?
Well I got the chance to grab one for the price of 450 canadian. Im wondering if this would be worth it to sell my bronze series warlock bass and get this with the money from it? From what I herd a nice few people prefer these more than actual american made fenders
Also its a percission bass in black and its in brand new condition

A great step up from starter basses. Very upgradeable, solid construction, classic looks, sound good stock, sound great after upgrades.
I recommend you replace that bridge immediately, a Badass II is the most common choice, one that even Fender endourses. The pickups are alright, but for a P-Bass, I recommend dropping in some Seymor-Duncan Quarter-Pounders. Um, tuning gear wise you should cool. Heh, and if it were me, I'd buy a red tort pickguard for it, I love black basses with those pickguards. Hell, if you have the cash to throw away, I'd buy a Jazz bass neck for it, the P-bass necks are okay, but the Jazz's are in league of their own.
All this in due time, with upgrades, it should last you a LONG time, and it will boost your resale value as well.

Took the words from my mouth, I was gonna switch the pickguard to a red one and also get these little stick on gems and go all around the pickguard

Oooooh, just found sumpin out. This year's edition of MIMs have gotten a slight price increase, that's a cuz the factory's have gotten new, more efficient machines that have increased the quality of the instruments produced. Neat little fact, apparently there's a big difference between this year and last year's models.

Not bad instruments. I wouldn't buy one, though.
