With Tui and Ayato roaming elsewhere, Kewu'Chaka was no doubt lured away by the need for adventure and, of course, influenced by the rebellious streak within. The small, creamy yellow cub wasn't all bad- no, he was one who was enthralled with stories told by his mother, Tai, and sought to learn of how one was to become strong and make a name for himself. His mind was always formualting, searching and striving to understand things while his heart guided him in the art of compassion, loyalty and honor to his family.
Staying low as he crept within the tall grasses, Kewu's brilliant, cerulean orbs danced with excitement as his tail flickered behind him. "They gotta be here somewhere," he whispered low, ears perking forwards as he lurked as quietly as he could. The dried grasses abled him to blend in well and stay hidden least he should be found by his mothe or his siblings.
From what his mother told him about the gods and goddesses, Kewu had become fascinated with trying to actually find one. Gods and goddesses ruled over every domain, some said. And if there was in fact a god of Strength or a god or goddess who could make him stronger and more courageous, Kewu was certainly set on trying to find one.
"Then I can be braver! And Tui and Ayato will come with me on more adventures!" He grinned, keeping a hushed voice as he continued to wander.

Daemon stretched and padded from his new found den he shared with Ruffian. His white pelt made him stand out from the green grasses all around. He was tired and bored though, Ruffian was...somewhere, he wasn't sure if she had gone out on her own or was hiding in the shadows of the back of the den.
But he believed she wouldn't run off and leave, he prayed for that actually...
Coming here he hadn't met many of the natives really, he wanted to change that, Daemon wanted to become a part of his birthplace again. He wondered if anyone remembered or knew his mother. Flicking his tail he padded along, on a search for water or food or something.
"I wonder where everyone is during this time of day..." he spoke out loud to himself. It was a habit really, to ask himself questions most of which he did not know the answers to. Ah well, perhaps he may cross someone's path today.

It seemed so simple really: If Kewu'Chaka could find a god, he could then learn how to be stronger, to be a leader and how to be braver just like the other lions in the pride. He had an ambition to beome something great- Kewu wanted to become someone who those he would encounter would be sure to remember his name and remember who he was. A son of Tai, brother of Tui, Ayato, Udha and Zira, and a noble soul who fought for justice and followed the beating wishes of his heart.
What was he doing just aimbling with a slow, sauntering pace?
Smirking as he crouched low, the soft, creamy yellow pelted cub suddenly leapt into small strides and began running free within the tall grass. His creative mind envisioned himself having wings and feeling the rushing winds ruffle his fur and the chill breeze caress against his face. If only he could fly! How he wanted to know what the wind would feel like across his body, soaring through the cirrus clouds and traveling wherever he desired.
Looking upwards as his cerluean eyes were fixed upon the skies above, Kewu had lost track of where exactly he was heading and was oblivious to what was right before him. Suddenly, the small cub collided into something and toppled backwards in a slight roll. Sprawled out on his back as he gritted his teeth, Kewu rubbed his head with his paw.
"So much for trying to sneak away."

Daemon peered down to see a pale yellow ...thing, a cub? Wow, cubs could be really strange colors these days couldn't they? He flicked his tail and sat back, watching the cub rub his head with his small paw, "Hey there kid." Yes, his bad habit was all but coming back, his habit of calling anyone kid, regardless if they were a cub or not.
However, this would be alright, it was a cub after all.
"What're you doing out here all by yourself kid? It's not good to wander too far from home, surely someone has told you that..." he smirked to himself. Yes, what it was like to be young and wishing to wander. Hopefully this little furball would have a better cub-hood then he had. His was wandering too far from home, and all alone.

Stifling a small moan, Kewu'Chaka glanced before him to see a giant, white leg and, drawing his vision upwards, peered higher to meet the eyes of the white lion before him. Stumbling up to his paws, Kewu shook himself off as his ears seemed to flatten somewhat against his skull.
"Kid? my names not 'kid'," he giggled as he seemed to shift to the side, looking at the lions back. A slight frown slid across his maw as, to his dismay, the lion before him did not have wings like a god or goddess. Amused by the lack of color and curious as to whom the older male was, the creamy, yellow pelted cub sauntered back before the male. "My name is Kewu'Chaka."
His brows knitted close together, deep in thought, as his cerulean eyes seemed to wander elsewhere. Curling his tail around his body, Kewu'Chaka reverted his gaze back upon the white male once again.
"Yeah, yeah," he moaned. "I know. Mom, Tui, Ayato, Udha, and Zira aren't too far away. Thye're just over by the backside of Priderock." He was a bit of a distance away but within range so that the keen eyes of his mother could pick him out from the lush, green grass. But it was true; he shouldn't have wandered THIS far. Grinning from ear to ear, Kewu flicked his tail behind him and rose to his paws.
"I wanted to go on an adventure and try and find a god or goddess, though. Momma has told me about them and I wanna find a god of strength or one of them that can help me get stronger, courageous and brave like all of the other lions in the pride." It was his aspiration and dream to actually come across a god or goddess and ask them questions. But, for now, the questions that were compiling in his head about the male before him would settle his curiosity.
"What's your name? And how come you don't have any colors on you?"

So the cub didn't want to be called kid? Daemon smirked to himself, well, that would be what he was going to call him, "Alright, whatever you say kid..." he flicked his tail and still smirked to himself. This little cub thought he was so awesome for wandering around? That was interesting, but funny also.
"A god or goddess? Sorry to say but I don't think any of those are around here kid. They're probably flying over us or in places we can't get to rather then being here in the open." it was sad to tell Kewu this, but Daemon really didn't want him to wander off too far away from home in hope of finding a god or goddess, then get in trouble and be cub-napped or something.
"No color? I have color, white and black, blue in my eyes...but you, you're so bright compared to a lot of things." He nodded to Kewu, but still liked calling him 'kid' rather then his full name.
Sometimes names were hard to remember.

Kewu wrinkled his muzzle with a distateful frown, a small snarl creeping up upon his maw. Who did this lion think he was? Soft, creamy yellow ears fell against his skull as his tail aggitatedly flicked back and forth. Narrowing his big, cerulean eyes upon the big, white lion, Kewu'Chaka stammered his right forepaw.
"It's Kewu'Chaka! And you'll remember my name sooner or later," he grolwed. When Daemon began speaking once again, the small cub knitted his brows and tilted his head slightly.
Who was to say that gods or goddess's weren't around here? No one knew for sure and, as for Kewu, he believed that they could very well be hiding within the shadows and even within the air- watching and protecting the pride. But to say that they weren't around didn't deterr the small cub from his beliefs.
"I think they are," he chimed, puffing out his chest slightly, "and momma says that they're watchin' us. I want to find one and have them make me be strong!" He was stubborn in his beliefs and set in his ways; For such a small cub, Kewu'Chaka stood strong within his family ties but, also, in his beliefs. As Tai had told him that anything was possible with faith, Kewu held dear to his beliefs and had learned that no one else could shake their foundation as only he could dismantle his own truths by succumbing to others and their opinions.
Stepping closer as a smirk drew across his maw, Kewu shook his head. "That's not a color," he pointed at the white lions fur, "you look more like a cloud than a color. A big, poofy cloud! And there's nothing wrong with being bright- it makes you stand out from all the other lions."

Daemon sat back even more and peered down at this 'Kewu-kid.' He was surely persistent, though Daemon liked calling him kid better, so much easier to remember then long names like this cub's! He flicked his tail and raised a brow, so he wanted to find a god or goddess to make himself stronger?
"To tell you the truth kid..I mean, Kewu, you don't need an immortal to make yourself stronger, you can train yourself to get strong and faster," he said with a nod and a flick of his tail. Hell, thats what he did, he didn't need any god or goddess to make himself stronger when he could do it on his own.
But then again...this was a CUB he was talking to.
Figures.
Though Daemon frowned when Kewu called him a cloud, he'd rather not be associated with puffy things, "I'm not a cloud kid...I'm like you, but bigger. K?"
Cubs these days...jeez.

Kewu couldn't help but smirk as Daemon actually was begining to remember his name. Tilting his head slightly as the lion spoke, Kewu'Chaka rolled his eyes slightly. There was truth to what the lion spoke yet, at the same time, he didn't know what to do.
"So how do I train myself? What do I do to get stronger just like you?" In a slight way, the small cub let his cerulean orbs mull over the one who sat before him and seemed to idolize him. Daemon was strong, confident and had an edge to him- and that was what Kewu wanted.
Snickering to himself as it seemed the 'cloud lion' had a problem being called something that was poofy, Kewu let a widespread grin broaden across his maw.
"You're not like me," he giggled with amusement, "you're bigger but I'm not as strong. But I wanna be like you."

Daemon was a bit taken aback by Kewu wanting to be like him. "You don't want to be like me kid, you want to be your own self, trust me." He flicked his tail, wondering if he should be having this conversation with a cub. He didn't want to soil the child's thoughts that you had to be strong to be a good lion...even though there was truth in it.
"Just have fun for right now, when you get older, your ...mother," he did have a mother right? "will teach you how to hunt, then you'll get stronger."

Maybe he wasn't explaining it right. Besides, Kewu was only a cub and his thoughts and attempt to get things across wasn't- well, too up to par when speaking with an adult. Why did it have to be so difficult? The creamy, yellow cub puffed out his chest as a risilient snort blew from his nostrils.
"I wanna be strong like you but I don't wanna be like you," Kewu corrected as he exhaled and stammered his right forepaw. "I'm me, Kewu'Chaka, and you're an adult. I don't wanna follow in someone elses paw prints I wanna make my own and be different."
With a strong sense of faith, family and unity with his siblings, Kewu also stood strong in his own belief that he didn't want to be someone else...he wanted to be himself, Kewu'Chaka, and follow his own path in life other than someone elses. For such a young cub, Kewu was ambitious and anxious to learn and to develope his strengths but, sometimes, it did lead him into trouble and straying away too far from Tai and his siblings. His curiosity sometimes, or rather too often, got the better of him. But he was young! And his top priorities in life were having fun, exploring and learning.
"Is that it? Hunting will make me stronger?....Isn't there more stuff?"

"Hunting will make you stronger, kid, it will, but you have to practice before you attempt to hunt...sort of like training yourself...with pouncing, balance and that type of stuff," he didn't want to tell Kewu that he could get stronger by being on his own. Telling a cub to leave his family wouldn't be the best idea, not at all.
Daemon stretched his legs and peered around, what could he show Keu that could help him. He was hungry too, perhaps he should hunt, show Kewu the basics? No, that wouldn't be good. Kewu was too young to watch another animal being killed.
"You can get stronger in a lot of ways, but tis better to decide for yourself what the best ways are, don't you think? You wish to be your own lion, then don't always rely on others to tell you what to do, but remember this," Daemon bent down so he was crouched down to Kewu's size, "Family is important. Never forget that. Your family can help you get stronger..."

Somewhat puzzled but never ceasing to stop the words from soaking up within his mind, Kewu nodded his head. He wanted to become something great; Kewu'Chaka wanted to have his name be known by others and make something out of himself. He was only a cub but the desires to become strong as well as make his family proud coursed swiftly through his veins. The world seemed endless and the possibilities of searching to appease his wants and needs was becoming a very, very long list.
As Daemon crouched low towards him, Kewu perked his ears up as his eyes widened. "My family can make me stronger too?" His bright, cerulean orbs glistened with a deeper curiosity and amazement as he looked into the eyes of the white male.
"I just gotta stick with them and help mom and my brothers and sisters, right? Is that how some lions get strong and brave too?"

Daemon smiled at Kewu, so curious and anxious to get stronger, reminded him of himself really, when he was younger, he wanted to be everything, be great, his mother never got to see him as he was today. "Yes, family can help with everything kid, they are important to your growth and your will to become stronger..."
Daemon sat back up and sat back, leaned on his right foreleg a bit, "Family can help you make it to wherever you wish to go, they will always be with you, and will always want you to be what you wish to be, even if they don't admit it sometimes," Daemon figured with siblings, Kewu's brothers may want to get stronger then Kewu, and might try to put him down.
But he doubted that really.

Was this the answer he had been looking for?
It seemed like it.
Nodding his head as his maw seemed to gape slightly with awe, Kewu'Chaka swayed his tail behind him in an estatic and overwhelmed sensation as his small, creamy ears perked forwards. Family; it was the key to any great lions success and, with hearing the wise words of the white lion, it was one thing that was certain to make him strong as well as help him along the way.
"Stronger? Yeah! That's what I wannna get! 'Cause then I could show Tui and Ayato how strong I am and help them too! We'd be a team but I'd be the leader," he added, his voice full of zest such lively nature as his cerulean orbs seemed to twinkle with a defined sense of mischief, a yearning for adventure and excitement.
For such a small cub, Kewu wasn't afraid to stand out, be bold and seem aggressive in never letting anyone dismember and dismantle his beliefs and dreams. He wanted greatness- Kewu'Chaka wanted to be known for heroism, to stand for those who could not stand up for themselves and to be known as a relentless warrior that fought for the right. The stories that his mother, Tai, always told seemed to spark a deep foundation of interest and imagination within his mind and, now, he wanted to bring the stories that she always told to life. He wanted to be the hero.
"How do you know so much...er- what's your name?"
