The bar was the main part of the building, a rundown old inn just at the edge of town. The Inns name was a dark jest at the luck of the owners, titled "The Rock Bottom."

By eveningtime the bar was usually host to one or two regulars who would have a few drinks, order a hot meal or play a game of cards, but tonight the bar was host to an assortment of strange sorts.

Sitting at the bar was a woman with Raven black hair and emerald green eyes, she was fluttering her eyelashes at a bemused looking darkelf bartender in an attempt to make him forget she hadn't paid her tab since the last time she had been here.

Slightly farther down the bar a short Ferrin dressed in ratty and tattered clothes was tuneing a stringed instrament and looking at it intently checking for signs of age on it's finish.

At the farthest end of the bar a man in a cloak sat quietly sipping something from a flagon that was smokeing ominously.

In the main dineing area of the bar three individuals had circled a table to play a drinking game. The contestants consisted of a Red haired bush bearded dwarf with a dented steel helmet on his head, a huge half orc male, dark moss green skin, fangs and a shaved head. His face decorated in tribal tattoos and pierceings, and finally a monk, dressed in modest robes with pointed Fox ears and a bushy tail. The three were all ready well lubricated and sat patiently, cheering and jeering at each other as an attractive and buxom blond waitress filled their drinks.

Closer to a stage with a patched curtian sat three old men playing cards quietly, a small pile of coins on the table, they were regulars who were here each and every night till closeing.

Sitting by the fireplace a darkskinned woman almost as tall as the half orc was sitting with a fair and pale woman in elaborate robes. The two of them had wine and a thick tomb open between them, quietly discussing the context.

Hustling and bustling amongst the noise was a little creature of indeterminant origin. his head was large and round though his body was smaller then natural. He scuttled around serveing drinks and food to some of the other regulars who were chatting, drinking or cheering on the drinking contest. He had pointed ears like a cat, but wore a cloth mask and cape of midnight blue and bounced around whenever he ran into something like he was made of rubber. Little notice was paid to this creature.

The starry skys above were bright and cheerful on the little in, a surpriseingly good night for business, perhaps with the approach of the new moon even greater happenings were in the cards.
