Pornography is based on fantasy, that's what makes it so alluring. It is outside the "norm" of the average person's world. I personally have never been chased down by many Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. Too much fantasy is not good. It creates a door to escape from reality.

I do recall the garden of Eden... "and by one man's transgression sin entered into the world and death by sin..."
So, sin entered the world when satan became the illegetimate parent of the earth...I don't see this as God's doing. Man had free will, he had authority and he shluffed it off...that was Adam's choice...not God's.

So what you're saying is that God didn't create disabled people. That Satan simply created them. So are you going to say that they're also sinners too. That they should go to hell too. I was also implying that of the sickly. God created everyone those who are sick in the head and those who are mentally and physically disabled. Or did Satan create them too?
Sorry if this seems like a major debate. These kinds of things anger me. I knew a kid who had cystic fibrosis and he died in October. Sure he was Jewish but that doesn't really mean anything. Is he going to go to hell because of that disability? Or having a disability at all. |

what God's fault for giving us free will? and with that Gift we decided to spit back in his face by living in the way that he didn't intend us to live? oh yes...of course its God's fault. no....when Adam and Eve fell they brought into us the Sinful nature that has separated us from God. even from birth we are sinful and separated from him. it is natural for us to sin b/c we are sinful beings can we work to keep from sinning? yes but only with the help of the Holy Spirit, without him we just keeping on sinning....just like the energizer bunny, we keep going and going and going....

I've been struggling with this problem for a few years, and recently, more-so. It's hard. But finally I put a porn-blocker up. I know that I know the password, but honestly, it'd be too much work to get around it.
And when I get back to Florida (Where I actually live), I'm going to download it, and my boyfriend is going to input a password that I will not know. It's said that after a few months you can break habits and urges, so if I can't get to those things, I'll get over it.
I also re-strengthened myself in Christ last night, because I felt so unfaithful for doing thse things. Masturbation and porn is not something God wants.
My boyfriend actually told me about how he invisioned there was a demon in him that was causing it, so he prayed and said that through the power of Jesus Christ he bashed the demon from his body, and then it was gone and everything felt alright.
They're horrible sinful urges, but through God, we can get over them.

You guys have gone way off topic here...but as far as i know, Adam and eve lived in a Utopia, a perfect place. Satan introduced sin and corruption into the world. that corruption also includes sickness, and dissabilities.( sorry about your friend... sad ) i highly doubt anyones going to hell due to a disability,if youre friend DOES go to hell, than from a Christians view point,wouldnt it be because he did NOT have a loving relationship with God? ( while i am not a christian,i do feel i have a decent understanding of it ) The fact that he had a disability shouldnt have anything to do with what happens after life in this world |
