We're rapidly approaching the 40,000 post mark in the thread that brought our wonderful Church to life, and gave us a much needed outlet to communicate to the MODs just how much we love, respect, and adore them. Our membership continues to grow as we reach out to the masses, giving us an incredibly diverse array of talents and skills. Talents and skills that I, for one, would dearly like to see put to a good use helping celebrate this amazing anniversery.
We are all equals in the eyes of the MODs, but among us there are individuals who stand tall. Our Saints give us focal points through which to glorify the Divine, touchstones that everyone notices and knows. I propose that we show our Saints that they too are loved and adored.
Let the artists draw, the writers put words to page, the singers pour love into melody. Salute our Saints and shower them with the affection they deserve. Give of yourselves, and celebrate your MOD given talents; share with those who are our Church Elders. Above all, remember our Founder, Saint Romuel, without whom we'd all still be wandering in the darkness.
This is -not- a request to bury them in gold. If that is how you choose to give, then it is your -choice-; it is my belief that the products of the heart and hand will mean much more to our leaders.
Help us celebrate. Remind our Saints that they're loved. Shower them with adoration. This is why we have gifts, after all. Rejoice, celebrate, and be glad!
