Carla Espinosa [Turk];
Carla is a nurse from the Dominican Republic. She was born in Chicago, and grew up in either Michigan or Illinois Carla started dating Christopher Turk in the show's pilot episode, and married him at the She speaks Spanish.. Conversely, she and J.D. (whom she refers to affectionately as "Bambi") have a fairly close friendship. She is protective of J.D. and stands up for him when chief physician Dr. Cox shouts at him for no reason. She is somewhat of a "know-it-all," and gives unwanted advice to all of her friends
Despite her personal foibles, no one dares makes fun of her; when anyone does, she humiliates them in front of the entire hospital.
Judy Reyes;
Reyes grew up in the Bronx and became interested in acting while attending Hunter College in Manhattan. Reyes resides in Los Angeles during production, but frequently returns to her native New York. Her birthday is November 5.

I love the nickname she pinned on J.D -- 'Bambi' and later called his apprentice 'Thumper' I still laugh the most over that nickname over any of Dr. Cox's girl names for J.D.

Yevgenia I love the nickname she pinned on J.D -- 'Bambi' and later called his apprentice 'Thumper' I still laugh the most over that nickname over any of Dr. Cox's girl names for J.D. -Yevgenia He does rather look a bit like a deer, though. In Carla's defence. Haha.
