He'd figured out how to keep his legs under him and it didn't take long to figure out how fun it was to run around. The snow had mostly melted leaving the plains free for him to tear across under the watchful eye of his parents. For some reason his father thought he'd get into trouble if he was left on his own. He though that was silly. Nothing would happen to him.
Sliding to a halt before he crashed into his fathers legs he nickered and danced around in place. "'m good aint i daddy? almost fast as ya!" He was proud of himself. He could almost keep up with his father when running and if his father was that fast then he must be fast too. One day he'd be able to outrun is daddy and then he'd be the best there was

Plainly put, he was tired. This colt of his had been running around in circles for hours and now he was out scampering back and forth across the plains while Remy waited for him to run himself out. He certainly was... Spirited. But that's what he'd wanted, wasn't it? A colt that combined his mother's beautiful, free spirit with his own wild one?
"Sedi... Ain't never gonna be fast as me. Ah run like da wind... You? You gettin' there." He nickered softly, leaning down to give the colt a gentle nudge on the side with his nose. "Course, y'd get d'ere faster if y'd rest a bit."

He huffed as his father nosed him and tried to nudge the stallions head away with his nose. "I gonna be faster than ya one day." He'd be stronger and faster just to prove that he could be. "Momma says i'm gonna be the fastest one out there."
He stuck his head up proudly before trotting around his father. "Ain't cha gonna run with me anymore?"

"Ah ain't gonna be da one ta disagree wit' dat momma o' yours, Sedi." He nickered once more, doing the best he could to keep himself from laughing. "We run all mornin'... An' all afta'noon... You don't think it time for a rest?" He gave the colt another gentle nudge. "Bet your momma's wonderin' what Ah doin' keepin' you away."

He almost tripped when his father nudged him but managed to keep his legs under him. "Tired already?" He was getting tired himself but he didn't want to stop running. "Ain't gonna argue wit mamma cause she'd beat'cha." He nickered as he turned around and trotted off toward their 'home'.

"Remy? Tired?" He snorted softly as he trotted after the colt, giving his son's hindquarters another gentle nudge before pulling up alongside him. "Ah ain't tired... An' your momma wouldn't beat me. She a good mare. One o'da best out 'dere." Then, with a twinlke in his eye he turned towards the colt, grinning. "... Ah race you home."

"She'd beatcha in da argument." He snorted at his father before he took off toward their home. He'd beat his father since he was faster and all, best around.

He snorted once more as he took off after the foal. Somehow he was convinced that this colt of his would be the death of him and with all of this running around and running of it was a damned good possibility. If he made it back before him he'd never hear the end of it.

Remy might have heard the end of it if Sedi beat him home but he certinally wouldn't hear the end for a very long time. Ducking his head he ran on trying to keep ahead of his father.
She'd spent the day swimming and wandering around the plains. After her last encounter with Remy she was starting to think that it was in fact boring without anyone else around. Even if she was arguing with the dark blue stallion at least she wasn't bored.
Sighing and shaking her head and almost screamed when she turned to see a foal about to barrel into her. Thankfully the little thing stopped fast enough to only bump into her.
"oof ...." Sedi shook his head and looked up at what he'd bumped into. "M'sorry miss. Didn't see ya since ya match tha grass'n all"

When the colt disappeared from his line of sight he began to move a bit faster; not wanting to loose the foal... Or was it more that he didn't want the energetic little thing getting into any sort of trouble as his name suggested he may?
"Sedi?" He snorted softly as he called after the colt, trying to find out where he'd run off to. "Sedi, your momma ain't gonna be none too happy if Ah show up without you... What makes you think she be any happier if you show up without me?"

"The grass is brown at the moment." She looked down at the foal. Something about him seemed familiar but she had been too lost in thought to pay attention to what it was. "So i think you just need to watch where you're going"
He snickered as he danced back so he could look at the mare he'd almost run into. "Oooooo..." He knew her. His father had said something about a pretty green mare that he'd talked to. "Yer yellow matches tha grass enough."
He heard his father's voice and turned his head. "I'm ova here da! Found that pretty one ya was talkin'bout!"

His eyes gave a slight roll as he trotted in the direction of his son's voice... And the second voice that tickled something in the back of his own mind. "What Ah tell you 'bout runnin' off an' talkin' ta stran---" He froze as he broke into the small clearing, fiery eyes settling on the familiar vibrant green of the mare's coat.
"Utsoasedi." That boy was Trouble... And Trouble was in trouble. "C'mon. Leave da nice mare 'lone."

"Pretty wha..." She looked up as she heard Remy's voice. Looking down at the foal and then up at the stallion she stared at the two of them for a moment. That's why he looked familiar. "I take it this is yours?" And she'd though she liked him, she'd even agreed that she'd had fun with him, and here he was with a foal. A foal that was obviously his

"Somethin' tells me she don't want me ta say 'hi', Sedi. Dat same somethin's tellin' me da things she want ta say aren't for young ears ta hear." No, she probably hated him now... And would continue to despise him no matter what he said from here on out. "Ain't that right, chere?"

So that was how it was. He wasn't even going to explain. He wasn't even going to try to lie to her and tell her it was just a coincidence. He had been playing with her while he had someone else. She'd been right all along and yet she'd trusted him, she'd started to like him, she'd admitted that maybe she was wrong about him. "Congratulations Remy .." She sniffled slightly. Oh no, she wasn't going to cry where he could see her. "I'm sure you two should get home."
"Ah ... no fun. Suppose to be nice ta friends daddy." He walked over and nosed Remy's leg. "Ya don't wanna be nice ta her i will"
