The female wandered slowly, so many thoughts, running through her head. Step, step, step...She trailed off, shaking her head and stopping. "This isn't going to get me anywhere." She said, her tone frustrated, tired, sounding just so sick of everything.
Of course this wasn't the way that Kichbi used to be, but since she'd lost Daemon, things just hadn't been right. She'd gotten used to having him around to help her. She gave a sigh of frustration and then reclined to her haunches, staring blankly ahead, which was good, for she'd stopped only a foot or two in front of a rather large tree, which she would most likely have run into had she not stopped right then.

He stretched his forelegs and then his backlegs. Shook his head letting the long stripe of fur settle upo his neck and back. Daemon yawned and looked around with his ice blue eyes. He didn't the the little blue mass of fur anywhere. "She must've wandered off again...I'll find her..."
Daemon began to walk tiredly. He felt so tired lately, not having time to talk to others, always watching the blue fluffball, as he nicknamed her. But that was fun, it was like he was being a father, yet without the bliss of having a mate or real family. His family had always been disfunctional, why would he be any different?
"What shall come my way today...the evil she wolf...or another?" he asked aloud and chuckled to himself and kept walking. Perhaps something good would come his way today.

Kichbi's ears perked as she thought she heard a familiar voice drifting her way. Daemon...? she wondered, heart beginning to race as her hopes soared high. "No." She scolded herself aloud. "It's probably just...." She trailed off, ears drooping as she closed her eyes, since having them open was doing her no good anyways.
Another furstrated sigh, and Kichbi lay herself down in the snow. It wasn't so cold out that it would bother her anyways. "I wonder where he could have gone anyways. I know he went to find his family, but I thought he'd have been back by now...Maybe he didn't want to be with me anymore. I bet he found a better female..." She trailed off, moaning softly, sadly. Maybe Daemon had found a better female, one that could see properly...

Daemon stopped, let some of the snow on the high branches fall onto his back. He couldn't figure out which way the blue furrball had gone. She was too hyper for her own good, he knew that. The wind blew against his face, he closed his eyes because the flakes stung them, his nose felt really cold and he sneezed.
Then he heard a voice, "So familiar..." he raised his head nad peered around. Somewhere, somewhere out here there was something familiar. His memory had faded since he had wandered out this far. Something important...he was forgetting something really important right about now.
"The elusive memory is here...I know you are...."

And then the voice again. So I wasn't imagining it? She thought to herself, standing again, quickly and then opening her eyes, wishing desperately to glance about, as any other wolf could. She growled and then felt for a moment as though she'd claw her useless eyes out, but then sat again.
"Daemon?" She called, not knowing what direction she was facing, nor if it was even him. Maybe the voice just sounded like his...maybe it was someone come to trick her, be cruel....
Though Kichbi wanted it so badly to be him. She wanted to lean against him again, to feel his soft warm fur against her. The black and white female wanted his comforting words.

"Kichbi?"
He said it low but loud enough that the wind carried it along. That was it, he had forgotten about Kichbi. All he remembered was trying to find Arguin again, finding out the bafoon abandoned a child, then, then that he didn't know which way she might be.
"Where are you?"
Was the wind playing tricks on him?
He growled at the thought.
He began to pad in circles through the snow, keeping an eye out for the blue fur of the hyper pup he was caring for. Then he saw a figure, white, the reverse of him. His ears fell back. Would she hate him now? He was different, maybe she would hate that too.
He stayed silent for a moment, and just merely watched her sit. He wished she could see him.

"Daemon....you are there!" She said, excited, her tail now wagging. "Please come to me!" She called again, spinning around in circles, hating her eyes for not letting her see him.
The female had felt so alone and depressed without Daemon. At least he made her feel like she actually existed, like she had feelings, and he actually cared about her. "Please....please don't be a dream...." She trailed off sadly, starting to wonder if it really was a dream, a cruel dream, just playing tricks with her mind.

Daemon watched as she spun in a circle, he leaned himself against the tree he was standing next to. She seemed so happy he was here, but hadn't he made her feel horrible? Didn't she hate him for not returning right away.
"Kichbi...this way...to your right...follow my voice Kichbi..." he said soothingly. She didn't want it to be a dream? Neither did he, any moment he thought of blue furrball pouncing on him, telling him to get up adn get her some food.

A whimper of happiness exploded from the muzzle of the female, as she whirled around, ears perked towards his voice. "Daemon...." She started, trailing off as she turned to the right and wandered slowly towards his heavenly voice. Please not a dream... she repeated in her mind, eyes open, though not seeing, as usual. She strained to find any traces of him across the field of white that was her sight. An aura, a sparkle of color, anything...

He knew now he would just be cruel if he didn't walk forward towards her. His paws crunched against the snow as he got closer, he smiled, but frowned at himself. He was a horrible wolf to have not returned to find her sooner. "It's been too long...hasn't it?" he asked in his low voice. He tried to sound soothing, though he was disappointed in himself. He stopped and craned his neck out to just brush her cheek with his own, so that he wouldn't frighten her.
"How have you been Kichbi?"

The female felt his breath on her muzzle, then the soft fur of his cheek against hers. "It has been long, yes...but I'm so glad you're back Daemon. I was worried for you..." She trailed off, shuffling a little closer to him, and then reclining to her haunches and staring at him blankly. "I've been alright...having troubles getting around, but alright. What about you? I bet you've got so much to tell me about yuor travels." She said, smiling kindly as she nuzzled the soft fur on his neck gently.

Daemon sat back on his haunches. He couldn't believe he had forgotten, but then again, he know had something that took up most of his time, the daughter his brother abandoned. "Well...my brother, he abandoned his daughter..." he said looking to the side. He felt disgrace upon himself for having such a brother. "So I'm taking care of her, she is so full of life, she wandered somewhere out here... how about you Kichbi? Surely you have found something interesting since we parted last?"
