Hey guys. I'm sorry to say, but I just don't have time to be captain of this guild anymore. I don't want to remain in this position simply because I am not on gaia enough to be a captain in this guild. I believe that this is a diservice to you as members.
Post who you want to vote for captain, and I'll eventually check back and place whoever you guys elected as the new captain.
Update:: I'm asking (not demanding) the new captain to allow me to remain as a crew member. I've been in this guild from the very beginning of it's creation.

I'd like to enter my name on the ballot, mainly because it seems no one else is going to be the first to volunteer. I admit, there are probably more active people here who are better canidates, but I'm willing to take a crack at it.

I do not wish to drag this proccess out so I will set a date for everyone else to annouce their candidacy. If no one else requests to be in the vote by January 7th, I will annouce High_Assassin as the new captain of the Libertarian Guild.

I am both proud and a little dissapointed to accept this promotion. I was actually hoping for an election. Maybe I'll hold another soon. I'm actually thinking that this could become a recurring process, where the Leader of the guild is elected on a regular basis. I'll have to check the applicable guild rules, and set some kind of reasonable schedule. But first, I need to spur some activity here.

I would've run, but I just am not Libertarian enough to be disserving of such a spot, or even to run for it.

I've re-organized the guild and put several topic into the subforums, hoping to spur some activity. So far, nothing. As much as I hate to, I'm going to turn on the news. Theres always something there to piss me off. We have a topic for discussing that stuff somewhere.
