Isipho rambled along, occasionally sniffing the air. She was on the lookout for Danzi, the kind lion who had helped her when she had.. fallen on him. The mere thought reminded her of the bump on her forehead, and numb front leg. Other then that, though, she had escaped without major injury.

Now where was he? She had never had the chance to properly thank him, and the lioness was hopinh he would escort her to Pride rock, so she wouldn't get lost along the way.

User Image Not too far from the rambling lionness was another one of her species, though this one didn't seem to ramble as much as she stumbled. She was the color of earthy clay and carried the air of a child though had the build of the full grown adult that she was.

Today Kia was occupying her time hopping about her way in the dirt, amusing herself with the imprints that her paws made in the ground and the tiny clouds of dust that were created during impact. A silly sort of grin was spread on her face as she hopped, stopped, and watched all in succesion before giggling and repeating this short and silly process.

Unfortunately this distraction of dusty dirt distracted Kia so much that she didn't even notice the lionness that she was about to cross paths with. She only notices the occasional clump of earth that would sometimes flutter about with the clouds of dust she displaced. These she would pounce on and then marvle at the bigger clouds of dust that her pouncing would create

Metallic eyes landed on the earthy lioness, and Isi could not help but grin herself. Oh, if only she had thought of that! All this dust, and Isi hadn't even glanced at that. Maybe she had.. what was that word.. matured? Yes, maybe she was a bit more.. matured? Bouncing over to the Lioness, she abruptly anounced, "I'm Isi!", not taking into consideration that she might scare the lioness.

After anouncing her name, Isi took a closer look at her. She.. reminded her of someone, but the lioness couldn't place her paw on it. Similar markings.. simliar color.. but to who? She knew she had seen someone like her before.

User Image "...AH!" Kia hunkered down slightly, grounding herself in the cloud of dust, her eyes were slightly widened as she looked towards the source of the voice. The sillohuette of a lion emerged from the clearing dust, like a showndown in an old western movie except this one resembled more like a kindergarten version. The smiling face of the other lionness confused Kia for a moment and she set her head on angle as she tried to decide what to make of this magically appearing lionness.

finally after collecting herself for a moment she spoke as well

"I'm Kia" most of the time when she said this it would be followed by a 'nice to meet you' or a 'lovely weather we are having today' on Kia's part, but today it was just a blank stare. She simply wondered how any lion could be so sneaky as to sneak up on herself. She blinked her green eyes, not realizing the oddness of the situation of a fully grown lionness caked in dust and another one simply smiling on the occasion

Isipho's smile faltered for a moment, as the lioness yelped. Flinching, her ears pressed flat down into her head, a simple instinct. A moment after Kia introduced herself, Isi relaxed and perked her ears up. "Do I, uh, know you?" The lioness blinked as she noticed that Kia was coated in dust.. but soon dismissed it.

Had she scared her? It was hard to imagine the clitz being able to sneak up on anyone, but she supposed exceptions happen. A small glow of pride wedged itself into her chest, and she seemed to puff up a bit.

User Image Kia's expression slowly slid into a position in which Kia could nervously bite at her lip. No she did not recall meeting Isi before, but this wouldn't be this first time that she had forgotten a face so she just smiled shakily and shook her head from side to side "Uh... no I don't think we've met before.... unless I know you...." she paused "I dont know you do I?"

she looked at the other female again but she didn't exactly ring any bells in Kia's mind. She then looked herself over and laughed quietly to herself

"Then again I suppose it would probably be very difficult to tell if you had met me before or not at the present moment" she chirped, refering to her dusty coat. She then clamped her eyes shut and shook her coat gleefully trying to disshelve some of the dust that had found a home on Kia's coat, sending another small cloud of dust about and after this one had settled a bit Kia looked inquisitively at her new aqquiantance "Heh?" she said with a smile. Perhaps she would look more familiar now

Isi frowned, and squinted at Kia. No.. it didn't look like anyone she knew. "Uh, I don't think I've met you before.. But.. I.. don't know." But then again, it was possible she did and just.. forgot. No, she never forgot. Okay, sometimes she did, but not all the time. Maybe it was just the dust? As Kia shook her pelt, Isipho recoiled, but was still hit with a small spray of dust, instantly fading the purple fur on her chest and face. Suddenly, a lightbulbe lit up in Isi's head as Kia's vibrant tan coat was revealed. "You look like Danzi!" She blurted.

User Image She grinned instantly after the lionness's last outburst "I DO?!" her expression glowed as she hopped once enthusiastically. Imagine that, she looked so much like Danzi that somebody else thought they recognized her just because of his features that they saw on her. She giggled once before plopping herself into a sitting position on the ground happily

"Well Isi, it makes sense that we look a like" she held back another giggle "because he's my dad!" her head cocked to the side again as she conjured up some questions in her mind "Do you know him at all? How did you meet him? Isn't he handsomee?" she laughed, happy to meet somebody else that knew her dad

Isi nodded, excited. "Sortof!" She grinned, the Lioness's obvious happiness was contagious! "He's your dad?" Her mouth opened in a small o of suprise. But.. he was so young looking! Well.. it did make some sense.

Perking her ears, she payed rapt attention to Danzi's daughter, joyous that someone might know where he was. "Yes, I know him! I fell on him, sortof, I was in a tree.." Her grin took a sheepish tone to it, and she blushed a bit at the last question. "Yeah, he sorta is." Her last answer was a bit quieter.

User Image "That he is!" she said with a proud smile, puffing out her chest a bit, still in joy from the months ago that she had found him for the first time.

"You fell on him?" she said with a little gasp "from a tree?! Are you both quite alright? trees are nasty creatures.... almost like birds, but never mind that" She nosily scanned the female's frame for any obviously malformed bones that could have resulted from a break and decided that since there were none to be seen on her that her father must be alright as well. "I'm sure he didn't mind he's quite easygoing and there are rather bigger lions than yourself. I think you catch my drift" she chuckled

Kia picked up on her quite shyer way of answering her last question and giggled quietly, but said nothing about it. "Do you fall out of trees often?" was all that she could think to say

Isipho smiled at the lioness. She was pretty priud of Danzi. Or atleast, it looked like that.

She nodded, a bit scarlet in the cheeks, but her black fur hid that. "yeah, we're both fine. Just a bit of a headache, really." The lioness chuckled. "Yeah, he helped me out, he told me I was 'Out of it' so he brought me to a watering hole and such. He was nice.."

Isi snorted, "No, I don't. It was a one time thing, I slipped.." her tone was defensive, and she looked down, metallic eyes glued to the dusty earth.

User Image "One time thing eh?" she said surprised "I wish I could say the same about myself!" she walked along a few strides, smiling cheerfully.

"Like I said before," she added with a sage-like expression "Trees are nasty creatures and they're no good. no sirr-y! not good at all. They're out to get all of us I swear it."

Kia sat down, taking a moment to lick off flecks of dust from her forepaw, taking a blind shot at cleanliness that normally wasn't like her. "So," she said casually "Have you seen my father recently? Or was this a good while ago?"
