The smell of food fills the air as rows of tables and seats are covered with consumables and peers, all of which speak loud and proud in strenuous attempts for attention. Come here to eat, play, or talk with friends when at lunch.

Mandy took a seat at one of the elongated tables, looking over the the dozens of table tops and taking in the moment of silence... Nobody was in here to bother her, nothing could yet be pranked, trapped, no loud noise could be made, for it was just her... "Perfect" She said as she narrowed her eyes, then thunked her bag onto the table, and pulled out a pink, aluminum lunch box. She pressed her fingers against the metal clamps, and popped them forward. From there she slowly lifted the top, revealing a simple sandwich, a coke, and a bag of lays. "This is going to be my diet for the next couple years..." She reminded herself... "I should learn to cook." With that, she reached for her sandwich, and began unwrapping the plastic and tossing it aside.

Negel watched her go back in from the outside before looking around. She shivered some at the unfamilular faces and whipped around, trailing her, and then sitting next to her, breaking the silence with a plop of his books down upon the table. He stared at the table until he heard her speak. "...I can cook, want me to teach you?"

Mandy shrug, and snapped open her coke, "I haven't much else to do.."

Nergel blinked at her. What? What did that mean? Was that a yes? A no? His palms started feeling rather sweaty and he shifted in his chair, pushing his glasses up, even though they obviously didn't need to be shoved upwards. He now could only stare at her blankly, a slight flush rising onto his cheeks from getting confused.

Mandy's eyes looked coldly back at Nergal. She stopped her chew and set her sandwich back on the table... "Is something wrong?" She asked in an annoyed mannor.

Nergel looked down, his green eyes still withheld a great deal of confusion in them. "I..I don't know if that's a yes or..or a no?"

Mandy rolled her eyes, "That means yes" She then tossed aside the wrapper of her sandwhich, not caring for where it may have fell, and pulled open the bag of her chips..

Nergel gave a nod and looked down at the table, his finger starting to make small circles in it. "O-okay...." he went silent. He knew not what to say, nor what he even wanted to say. He slowly scratched behind his head, biting the inside of his cheek as he did. "..." Oh yeah, he was a riviting conversationalist.

Roy got in the food line. The food looked awful. Roy was wishing she brought her own lunch. The food here was going to clog her arteries if she kept this up. The lunch lady gnarled, "What will it be?" Roy looked. Option A: something green Option B: something yellow...Roy bit her lip and pointed. Both were equally as disgusting so it didn't matter. Roy turned with her fully loaded tray to head the tables when behind her she received a hard bump. Roy's tray falters...

..Right into the shirt of Sierra's, she having looked away to greet a classmate off. With the gelatinous mess all over, she shivered in reflex as gravity took hold of the slop, it splattering across the floor. Closing her eyes briefly, she reasoned with the situation, figuring that it would have been easy for her to avoid the spill, provided she kept an eye on where she was going. Sighing, she responded to her favorite shirt being ruined, and the small snickers of some of the bully-type boys.
..I think the smell alone tells me to hit up the vending machines. Two-folded Sierra's answer was, because as it was true she no longed wanted what the school was serving, the machines were also on the other side in the cafeteria, far enough away from the situation at hand.
Looks like you might need a little something now, too. Reaching to a table, Sierra snatched a couple of napkins, doing her best to repair the accidental damage. Though she wouldn't look up, it was apparent who she was talking to.

((some bad snobbery to liven the story up a bit no hard feelings ;D))
"OMG," Roy silently mouthed as her tray splattered into...Sierra! Oh that is just awful. Poor Sierra. Eer...who are those boys over there? AH the football players! They noticed GOD and they're laughing. Think fast. Act cool. "What the hell?! Watch where you're going?! Dear lord if you wanted so bad you could of ask!" Roy barked. Roy looked at the football players and smiled. Roy left Sierra to her plight. Each step her conscience's voice grew louder. It was berating her for being such an a** to Sierra.
"Hey guys," Roy said with a wave to the football players. "I had a little run in." Roy looks back and her conscience is kicking and screaming. "So I am going to steal some of your coke and chips" Roy was turning on the charm as she reached for the guy's coke. Sierra was slowly fading from memory. Yea high school is that cruel.

((..Actually, it's cool, really. Forgot what it feels like.))
Twitching her lips slightly, Sierra couldn't help to feel hurt. She put others ahead a lot, though knowing that a lot would eventually backstab you, yet she was surprised that it happened this quickly. Usually both would have been through introductions..
Sierra was still shaken however, and excused herself. I'm sorry.. She muttered, noticing how quickly the males were infatuated with this woman's admittedly shapely body, soon pulling a few strands of hair back in temperament. A Sierra walked off alone, she felt that twinge to retaliate, obeying. But while her victim's drink rose in climate, it never reached a point that would noticeably hurt. It would just really suck to swallow warm soda.
