HOMG WAFFLES WROTE A NEW POEM!!!
Actually, I wrote three. This is the first.
Such a happy title, no? Anyway, on to the important part.
DON'T speak to me.
Shouldn't be too hard, you haven't in two weeks anyway.
If ever you're in my proximity,
Don't even look in my general direction.
Go somewhere I can't see.
I never want to look at your face again.
I'm done wasting my energy
On trying to figure out what I did wrong.
You know, it's funny.
You managed to make me blame myself...for what you did.
It took me WAY too long to finally
Realize it was too good to be true.
It went from something heavenly
To me seeing the jackass you are.
My life was a movie.
I was finally going to get that fairy-tale ending.
You made me believe.
And then, you shattered my dream. Thanks.
Don't even TRY to say sorry.
That constitutes talking, remember?
Just leave me be.
I. Hate. You.
Eh, it's a bit colloquial for poetry, and in this poem I decided not to believe in any sort of beat or flow, but in my defense there is a rhyme scheme.
