Sacrifice: It was the story of her life. Yet Ukilia didn't ever complain. She'd slept dormant for years now, deciding that she needed rest from the pain her routine life brought. Being the goddess of sacrifice wasn't a difficult job, but very depressing at times. She was the embodiment of the martyr's spirit, and really, that wasn't the kind of lioness that she was used to being.
She'd given life to two children, Kiva and Shiva, keepers of Unity and Seperation, respectively. Their father had been by her side for years, but for the life of her she couldn't bring herself to settle down with him. He was just so aloof and stuffy... He didn't indulge in jokes, didn't do things just for the fun of it, never did anything wild... the god of strength was firm in his personality, and it would not be budged. Not even for her.
They went their seperate ways, finally, when she could take no more. She'd given herself to his brother, who was the exact opposite of Strength. It was just as well, Ukilia wasn't as somber as he was, she liked to live life by the moment, it was the only way she maintained.
The dark goddess yawned and stretched out on her back where she lay by a brook in the forest, her feather glowing dark against the contrast of her stark white underside. She gazed lazily around the area with a seduced glance, dusty lavender eyes hazy with boredom and restlessness. She was just rising form a normal nap, one that didn't span so long. Truthfully, she'd been traveling for a few days now and was miles from her place of hibernation by now, seeking.... she wasn't sure what. Hmm, were her children still out and about, she wondered? What was that old fuddy duddy, Ukali, up to these days? Questions, questions, and all caused by an idle mind. She rather wished someone would show up to show her a good time. A mortal child to speak with (They were quite entertaining to talk to), or maybe even a male closer to her in age, mortal or not. When was the last time she'd had a bit of good fun like that, after all? Far too long, and she couldn't think of a better way to unwind from a catnap.
Her gaze, then, lifted skyward, past the canopy of trees to the patch of blue overhead.
"What adventures will today bring...?"

-It wasn't really a power of his.. to be drawn to those that wanted his attention.. and if it were gods would he be trying to avoid it! The incessant mishmashed yells and screams of bored young minds looking for something to entertain them.. Twinges of thoughts everytime some beast lusted to feel the pleasure of another. He'd be drowning.
And yet... for some reason sometimes he felt pulled. Perhaps it was just being in the right place at the right time? But once again he found himself travelling restlessly, oblivious to the want that tugged at him from the distance.
Drifting lazily along the slow currents, his eyes touched the forest softly, the sparkle of water within the trees catching his eyes. A river or something? He was awfully thirsty.
Circling once until he spotted a clearing in the trees big enough for him to easily slip through he began to descend, eyes fixated on the jewel-like sparkle of the water below.-

It seemed like she had a stroke of luck today in her wishful thinking. What she wasn't expecting, was to see a familiar face landing down the river from her.
As the elder adolescent shifted to have a better look at the new arrival that caught the corner of her eye (a bird? She saw the plummage, and originally thought as such), her eyebrows quirked in surprise.
"Well I'll be a monkey's aunt..." The goddess purred, shifting to sit up now, moving fluidly with honed, practiced, and now natural ease. She couldn't believe who had just landed on the other side of the river!
~Lim, you haven't changed a bit since I saw you last.~
A soft smile tweaked at her maw then. For a few moments she just watched, not wanting to interrupt him before he had a chance to quench the thirst she assumed he had. She did begin her approach after, though, meandering confidently closer, until she stood almost directly opposite him on her side of the bank, her expression soft and just as mysterious as usual.
"Limbuko, am I right?"

-Lilac and yellow paws had settled for only a few seconds before he'd drawn forward, head lowering to lap at the cool water that that shaded forest protected.
And as he began to rise a feminine voice assaulted his senses, eyes widening in suprise at the actual words as they became clear.
The female.. beautiful as she might be was not familar, though his eyes lingered on her long enough to make it appear as if he were trying to remember, even though it was nothing more then general admiration.
He didn't know her... so why did she know him? Truely his name and looks were proceeding himself.. Spreading across the lands perhaps? Feathers ruffling and lifting with soft vanity, a smile grew wide across his maw, stepping close enough that his toes almost touched the water that seperate them.- "Indeed. God of Pleasure at your services Miss."
"Have you been.. looking for me?" -He guessed, perhaps that'd be why she knew him?"

Ukilia had a bit of delighted mirth at his "expense", feeling a rise of mood at the pride her recognition brought to him. She was no mind reader, but having encountered him before, Ukilia was well aware of the type of personality she was facing. Limbuko had always been like a breath of fresh air in her world, both physically and personally, especially when she'd been mated to someone as somber and sagely as Ukali. She'd never forget a face or attitude like Lim's.
So it turned out her luck was good luck after all.
"Perhaps I have..." She answered, watching him with dancing, dusty purple eyes. "My name is Ukilia, goddess of Sacrifice, and I'm looking to alieviate a bit of my boredom... I recently came out of a few years rest, but now I'm afraid being so out of the loop has left me a bit.... restless..."

-His brows lifted softly as her domain was announced, not being able to stop the words before they slipped out.- "Sacrifice? How unfortunate."
-But as quickly as the words fled, he shook his head lightly, testing her name on his lips, before he nodded in soft understanding.- "Ukilia.."
"That's quite a long time to sleep, unless of course your sleep was blessed by the dream goddess. But anyway.."
-His voice drifted as he debated flying over the river to her side. But instead he began to carry himself forward through the brook, pushing against the cool waters until finally he was but a few feet from the goddess. Standing there with a grin as bright as the sun, the water enveloping his legs and trying to pull the ivory white tail tuft along it's path.- "I'd be the delighted to have the honor of entertaining you on your first day back."

Ukilia's eyes slid to a softer gaze, expression glazed over with a subdued smile as he parted the waters with his form, drawing closer.
"I don't find it all that unfortunate... those that are willing to sacrifice in life are truely some of the most passionate people you could have the pleasure of meeting." She purred. Her smile began to shift, becoming more of a grin. She moved so that she stood more to his right, and stepped into the flow of the river as well. It felt cool against the hide under her fur and caused both the fur on her neck to prickle and a shiver to run down her spine. Ukilia didn't mind, of course.
Taking a few slow steps closer, she finally answered his last statement with one of her own. The goddess paused in her step, turning her head just so their eyes would meet before they came shoulder to shoulder.
"The pleasure is all mine, Limbuko... "
And like a huntress on a lazy day she circled around to his left, playful in spirit. Her tail she made sure to keep clear of the water, and her closer proximity prooved that the flames were harmless to the touch, just plesantly warm as they slipped along his side in passing. It must have been odd to see two wild plumes of flame folded at her side, but she seemed perfectly accustomed.

"Of course" -He nodded his head, a soft and subtle apology of sorts before his eyes settled once again on the female as she pressed her way through the waters and to his side.
At first he'd worried about those flames... such an inticing and weird thing they were.. flickering from her body with a life of their own. And as her body brushed against his, he actually braced himself for the sensation of pain.. only to find the softly comfortable sensation. More like bathing on a warm day then anything.
And yet it was clearly visible how she held them from the water. Despite their feel, the strange color.. they were fire nonetheless, and as she circled his silver eyes slipped for the flames, to the beautiful purple accent that kissed her body, and to the soft grin that rested upon her.
Spurred on by her words, and actions, he offered a soft n** at her side as it passed by, before his nose bumped her in the direction of the river bank, playful growl rumbling through his throat.- "I certainly hope it will be."

At Lim's play on words she let forth a small giggle, the sound light. Heading back for the bank of the river and climbed out. Instead of shaking her fur dry, however, she turned and waited for him to emerge, taking to grooming some of the water from his shoulder fur flirtatiously, eyes watching for his reactions.

((Sorry sweet. >.< The busyness around holiday time totally killed my rping waa. Not to mention I've been struggling to get into Lim character lately. ))
-Ahh the elder goddess. There was always something beautiful and wonderfully delightful about bathing one's self in the experiences of an older creature. And a smirk grew along the lilac maw of the younger god as he slowly made his way up the waters, eyes entraced on the soft show.
She was good enough at it, to make it indechiperable if you coy flirtation was on purpose or not, but either way it drew a gentle rumbling through Lim's throat, stepping to the grasses before he drew near enough to help her in her task. Salmon tongue flicking foward to lap at the water that rested upon her haunches.-

((Quite alright hon, :3))
Limbuko had always been her favorite aquaintence in the past. He was a pleasure to be around, as she could always be no one but herself. It was important to her. Though he didn't remember their past encounters she didn't seem to mind. Ukilia purred roughly in appreciation, her tail batting harmlessly against Limbuko's chest. As she continued cleaning away the water drops from her immediate reach she eventually switched to cleansing Limbuko's fur instead, pulling away enough to move in closer towards his chest with the gentle ministrations.

-The purr rumbling through the young god's throat, only growing stronger as she pulled herself near, tongue sending a delicate and pleasant sensation through him.
His tail sway, and slowly he let the need for words slip from him, instead falling into pleasant silence, as his own tongue pressed an affectionate stroke above her ear.
He would not argue, nor ask anymore of the goddess if she wanted. No, just as he did with Mama, he was happy to just enjoy the physical company and affection of this beautiful goddess, and give her the same in return.-
