Creating a pack had never been in Meskeet's thoughts. The idea itself was ludicrous. She hated dealing with the drama of others, and especially the idea of gathering a group all to herself. Mostly though, she hated the idea of being pestered all day with complaints or idiotic comments.
Why should she be? When she could so easily leave it to someone else.
Sadly that someone else was utterly incapable as a leader. He could barely keep himself alive, let alone a whole pack. Especially those with goals that depended on strength and cunning. But Xipetotec made a most excellent start into puppeting.
What he lacked in brains he made up for in space and brawn. While her attempts were still shaky Meskeet could atleast get a general feel for controlling another wolf. So long as they didn't wise up and fight against her that much.
Sure to wear him down for the day she'd left her soon-to-be alpha back at the pathetic makeshift den with Malady and the pups. She had no need for him at this moment, and definately didn't need him causing problems while she was away.
All she needed now were more for the cause. Not necessarily her cause, but someone who could atleast contribute a snarl here and there.
Sitting upright on the dusty road she almost looked to be waiting for somebody. Someone she was positive was coming, even if they themselves didn't know. She could feel the other wolf nearby and the prospects weren't bad.

She was thirsty for blood, to go straight to the point. She was hungry, and agitated as always, and all she wanted to do was sink her teeth into some soft flesh of a deer or some other large prey... oh, she could already feel the warm crimson blood trickling along her snout and over her smoothe tongue...
The wind changed and suddenly a new scent was thrown at her face. Stopping for a moment, Kiah sniffed to see if she knew who the smell belonged to. Nothing came to mind, making her think it was perhaps just some helpless whelp that lost its way. Nothing worth her time.
Hunger still in place, she picked up the pace again and continued onward. Not so long after that, she passed a rather strange looking female. Not strange as in physical, but strange as in the way she merely sat there, waiting it seemed. Cocking an ear, she stopped and glanced curiously towards Meskeet. At a glance, she seemed whelp-like enough. Kiah moved on, or so she thought she would.

Meskeet however had no intention of letting her simply leave. It had been almost an hour ago that she'd stumbled accidentally across the unhappy wolf's thoughts and it had been an hour that she'd had to take a look around and decide on her as a spendid addition to her as of yet small count.
Atleast her attitude was promising.
From what Meskeet could see with a bit of work she would be Princess potential. And what pack didn't have it's delegate?
Besides. She was someone Meskeet was unfamiliar with. Hopefully that would be true in regards to other resident wolves.
Meskeet remained sitting as she was, watching the ground infront of her feet but yet to gaze fully at the wolfess. She didn't need to start her struggle yet.
"You won't find anything worth eating that way. You won't find anything here."

Kiah spared the seer a quick flick of the ear and a loss of one step.
"Sure, whatever freak."
She really had better things to do than to deal with some wolf who somehow knew that she was going hunting. Was it obvious? Maybe she looked determined and had this certain gleam in her eye. Oh, the wonders her thoughts could work on the stuck-up princess.
Her tail swayed back and forth with every step as she calmly and proudly walked further away from Meskeet. She would get her blood today, and no one would stop her.

"When you end up tired and alone in a corner at the end of the with absolutely no luck don't blame anyone but yourself." Freak. Hah. As if words could hurt her.
And being a freak really wasn't that bad. A demented one especially.
"I'd tell you where to look instead, but one of your stature surely doesn't need advice from someone like me." She might be semi difficult to bait along. But Meskeet didn't expect much trouble.
"A shame too. Wonderful bucks. I just can't seem to pull them down right. You don't have that problem, do you?"

Kiah stopped once more when the seer spoke out again. This wolf really wouldn't leave her alone would she? Rolling her eyes, she turned around to face the other. Maybe if she talked a little, bared a fang, then moved on, she'd get some peace. Then again, maybe not. She'd only have to see. Besides, it wasn't like she had much else to do... except to get her blood.
Sighing in frustration, she rolled her eyes again. "What do you want?" she asked, exasperated. She really wanted to just move on and get some food, feel the warmth of blood running over her nose. But she couldn't do that with this rat bugging her and babbling on about being alone and bucks and whatever else.
"I've got things to do."

"Like what?" As far as Meskeet could tell the other female led a slightly boring life these days. Could even spoiled brats turn down a chance to actually do something for once. If not only for some change?
"Eat? Then what?"
Meskeet stood and stretched her legs slowly and absent-mindedly. As if she had all the time of the world. Which for now she did. How long that was last she was unsure.
"If I told you that you could be the single most important female of a pack at this very moment, comanding others and finally getting the respect you deserve, what would you say? That you would much rather go eat a rat and wait for the next day to do it again?" She watched her with an intense gaze. Maybe it wouldn't work, but it never hurt to try.
"Think about it. You're too good for your current lifestyle. Come with me and I'll put you back onto your pedastool. You deserve so much better. In return, all I ask is that you order around a few pups and omegas. You decide which you'd rather do."

Kiah tilted her head sightly at the other. Meskeet seemed to know a bit too much about her for them only having met a couple of minutes ago. Conceitedly, she believed that this wolf had some sort of infatuation or obesession. Ego boost. Yet then shew as told about a pack and was given some sort of sale pitch. Ego drop. It seemed to just be some recruiter for a pack.
But...
"If I told you that you could be the single most important female of a pack..."
That one part struck her the most. And she found herself believing it. Why? Simply because a wolf couldn't be promised such a thing to join a pack then not get it once it did join. There would be major chaos, she knew. At least with her.
Yet she was suspicious. Why would this wolf want her? Sure, she was beautiful and a princess, but what did that mean to someone who did not know her? Was it really so smart to trust a random stranger who suddenly offered her a high position in a 'pack' somewhere?
In the end, her greed won out over sensibility. She didn't care who this female was, she wanted power!
Stepping forward and grinning slightly, she nodded. "Alright, I think I'll give it a try. Where to?"
