Vincent Valentine stood, staring out at the sandy beach that lay sprawled before him. His expression was that of a man bewildered, and he wondered how exactly he had gotten pulled into this sort of outing. A seagull flew over head and too-sensitive ears picked up the lull of senseless chatter going on around him. As much as the beach was supposed to be a relaxing place, the dark haired ex-Turk couldn't help but feel uncomfortable. He felt--- exposed, to tell the truth. No crimson cape or dark colored attire hid his pale skin from the rays of the sun, and for a brief moment, he worried that he'd end up getting burnt by the day's end. His gene pool did not really allow for an easy tan.
Biting his lip with a nervousness he didn't think he possessed anymore, Vincent kept walking, crimson eyes casting a curious look towards Lucrecia. Did he have to be here today? They could easily deal without him, right?
"Lucrecia..." He started, jaw flexing as he tested the words.
"Are you positive you want me here?" His voice was low but hesistant-- he wanted to shy away from those many eyes that were most probably fixed on the fine white scars that marred his skin. Sure, it was ridiculous for him to be acting like this, but social situations were not his forte.

"It's the beach!!!!"
Selphie skipped down the length of the beach, jump rope in hand, the short skirt of her new sundress fluttering to dangerously high levels. Out the corner of her eye, she could see her old island friend, Tidus, standing just a few feet away, holding something that looked like a blitzball. "TIDUS!!!" she squealed, just high-pitched enough to summon any dogs in the area. Without giving the young man time to respond, she raced over and squeezed him tight around the waist. "Let's play blitz ball, okay?"
Without much warning to her fellow beachgoers, Selphie pulled off her pale pink sundress, revealing, to everyone's relief, a polka-dotted one-piece with a girly ruffle around the waist. "You go get a team together, and I'll make a sand castle!!" Running over to the edge of the beach, she tried to make a fortress with the damp sand, but was constantly interrupted by the waves hitting the shore. This isn't going to work..... A quite evil idea crossed her mind, and she set to work rolling up a small ball of wet sand. Before anyone could notice what she was doing, she launched a "sandball" at Axel. "SAND FIGHT!!!"

The beach!
A gleeful Sora jogged down the sandy shore, delighted at the feeling of soft, powdery sand at his feet, and the sensation of the sun beating down his bare torso.
His standard clothes were not practical for a glorious weather like this, really, especially since he would probably get roasted because of the black material. Keeping his pants, and dumping the belts and pouches, Sora peered at the people that were gathered on the beach, bright blue eyes dancing in excitement.
Hey, there was Axel and the rest of them! Tidus was not too far off, and Sora frowned slightly, scanning the area for any sign of his brother. Where was Roxas, anyway?

Tidus coughed as he was almost tackled by Selphie, and just before he could say anything in protest to finding a team, she was gone. Great, thanks for helping, Seph! Tidus sighed, standing up. Well now there's her, him and Sora. They needed one more..."I know!" He shouted to himself. "Roxas! He can join!" He snickered at the idea. Now he had to wait for them.
He had yet to see Sora, having had his back turned. He felt like adding more than two on two. Maybe Axel? He ran over to Axel, a little jumpy as he was jogging in place. "Hey! You wanna play Blitz with us?" He asked, grinning widely as his blue eyes gleamed in the sun with excitment.
If Axel can join, then we would need one more... But who? Man! Tidus just made it all the more harder on himself...He grunted in annoyence, which he knew would catch Axel by surprise as to his sudden mood change.

While the others were enjoying the beach for one aspect--save Axel, of course--Luxord was planning to do something that he hoped would be a revolutionary idea to all who wanted to remain beautiful.
In fact, he was to do nothing at all.
Along a portion of more deserted beach, the gambler lay on a very large, King of Hearts printed towel, aviator sunglasses over his eyes. Those giant opticals which defended their owner's eyes from the harmful rays of the sun eerily reflected the polarized blue sky, not a single whisp of cloud to interrupt the azure expanse.
But that was not all. The bleach-blonde man's body was covered in sun-tan lotion, and his skin glistened in a gorgeous bronze. He was proud of the fact that he never burned...he just tanned, or, baked, to a delicious golden-brown.
This little biscuit made a passive sort of face at the voices he heard on the other side of the beach, and he let his sunglasses slide down the bridge of his nose as he tilted his head to watch them. Most of them seemed like they were having enough fun, and the blonde appreciated that air immensely, shoving his sunglasses back up to their previous position and returning to his natural tanning bed.
