Master Chief armor possible in real life?

it is called mjolnir armor and we will be able to create the same thing by 2050 if not better but it would not be worth it

you could make the armor out of metal but it would be heavy and the shields arent possible for a long time

I think we could already build something similar to the suits in the new GI Joe movie, which in my opinion is the closet thing to Master Chief's suit, except that it flies. :3 But suits like that would be millions and millions of dollars. The government is too greedy to spend that kind of money on their soldiers. sad

Sorry for being picky but the name of the armor is MJOLNIR. It increases strength so that part is possible. If you want proof look at the HAL 5 suit. As far as the shielding goes though I have no idea.

What most people don't know is that they already have the armor made but its never been tested.

Actually it's only 1000 lbs or half a ton and it is theoretically possible to build it. Even though it weighs in at 1000 lbs it was according to the books and the guys at Bungie extremely versatile and maneuverable, the trouble would be driving it you'd need really fast reaction times, superhuman strengh, and superhuman agility at least. The Spartans had a number of other genetic ans cybernetic enhancements to drive it as well. On a slightly different note we are probably closer to creating SPI armor and anyone can use that cause it said that the DI's had used them in Ghosts of Onyx and the armed forces would place high value on a complete suit of armor that doesn't hinder the soldier's abilities and can make him completely invisible to thermals and to the naked eye

the big problem with the shields is that in halo, the usmc did research from captured elite armor... we don't have that

The UNSC did it off of captured Jackal Shields not Elites.
