How in the world do I make gloves? sweatdrop Any sort of tutorial/site/advice would be very appreciated. 3nodding

I don't know how to make gloves and I do not know any websites that will teach you how to. My guess is that it is not an easy task to make them skin tight. I would firgure you would just have to play around with it for awhile and try to furure it out. I would try making them by tracing my hands and then cut out that trace on two peices of faberic and then sew as close to the edge as possible and add more faberic wear it is needed on a seperate cut out.

I've never heard of anyone sewing their own gloves, just knitting...but I know you hafta do the thumb separate if you want it to fit. Yup. sweatdrop

i agree with darkornithopter just trace your hands at first. you might want to get a strechy kind of cloth so that even if they are a bit small they will strech to fit. with that you might want to put a very thin line of elastic around the wrist, it'll keep it from fraying faster.

I saw a pattern at the Fabric store the other day for gloves. I think it was McCalls, I'll look it up if a pattern like that would be the sort you want.

im trying to make gloves too i just made up the pattern from scratch and i havent sewn it yet so i don't know if it will work or not sweatdrop good luck with yours blaugh
