Pride Lands--Oasis Savvanah--Gummi Ship
Axel padded over to the exit to the Oasis, only to stop and turn, waiting patiently for Saix to say good-bye to Tifa. He turned his furry head only to see Saix "kiss" Tifa, and start making his way over. A lion's smirk came onto Axel's lips as he turned and started walking to the gummi ship. Those two were really a good couple -- once they weren't fighting or angry or keeping secrets. Or...well, that list could probably take a bit of time to say.
--
Almost as soon as Axel's paws set on the gummi ship's floor, he changed back to normal. Oh thank Oblivion. Being a lion was getting annoying. The flamer felt something in his pocket that wasn't there before. How could something have gotten in there when he was a lion? Emerald eyes looked over in response to hearing a slight rustle from Saix's direction. The Ex-Diviner now held a blank card, like the one he'd seen briefly in that blasted cave on Destiny Islands.
A thought hit him as a slender hand slid into his pockets. Spindely fingers wrapped around a thin card and pulled it out. He looked over at Saix again, wondering how the hell these things worked, only to see that he wasn't there.
"Thanks a lot, Saix. You're a boatload of help," Axel sighed, shutting his eyes to try and imagine The World That Never Was. His mind sifted through locations. Castle Oblivion. The fortress's many halls. The basement. Fragment Crossing. Memory Skyscraper. His old room. The balcony which looked out on what was once Kingdom Hearts.
Where to go? A deep breath. Axel built a careful picture in his mind, hoping he wasn't popping into an area full of heartless. But, with his luck...
the place he landed in was definitely going to be crawling with the shadowy beasts.

Above Pride Lands wondering why they haven't landed the damn copter yet.
Rufus had been jolted awake by the sound of Elena's voice. She was apparently giving Reno a command about something furry and the blonde man's mind conjured the most interesting image. Reno, furry. Hm. How entertaining.
Stretching lazily, he turned to the window next to him, observing their whereabouts. Ah, so they were already in Pride Lands. That would mean that he would be seeing Vincent and Marina as lions. It was almost hard to imagine, stoic Vincent Valentine, with fur and claws and a mane. Marina too, was not one he could easily picture as an animal, but he supposed he would be seeing it sooner or later. Blue eyes caught a little bit of movement below the hovering aircraft and he quirked an eyebrow.
What was this?
Carefully arched brows shot up now, threatening to become lost in his bangs. Was that Reno as a lion? A hand came up, covering his mouth as he stifled his laughter. Oh, the redhead was not going to live this one down. Rufus would make sure to bring up the subject very often.
"Elena. Does the video feed in this thing work?"

Oasis
Zidane lost his awareness, wandering among memories of roots and Genomes and his silver-haired brother and Garnet and Vivi and Blank and all the others. In his physical reality, he staggered to the edge of the small clear pool and sat on a rock at the edge, kicking his feet and causing ripples in the water with the toes of his boots.
"To be forgotten, is worse than death!"
"How do you prove you exist? Maybe we don't exist."
He sighed. Pride had, perhaps even without knowing it, struck a truly grave blow to his peace of mind.
"Do you think it is wise to charge into enemy territory without knowing your enemy, Genome? Of course you weren’t trained in war tactics, were you? Unless you count the seek-and-destroy tactic, you must forgive me for my error."
It wasn't really his fault he hadn't ever been trained for war, was it? He had learned one-on-one combat from Tantalus and Baku, and that had served him well, but he would have learned more if Kuja hadn't taken him away from Terra.
He looked down at himself, realizing his skin was glowing softly. "Does it count as a surge of emotion if the only emotion I'm feeling is how stupid I am for thinking the Heartless would charge in blindly?" He shook his head, double checking the location of all his weapons, now glowing from Trance.
"Hn?" His hand closed around something sharp in his pocket. Something with corners. "A card? What the hell?" He stared at its blank face, glancing around briefly at the dwindling numbers surrounding him. "Oh, this is that card that takes you anywhere you want to go, I guess. The one the Heartless gave us." But why? Why would the Heartless help them? Should they trust the Septsinian? If Pride’s attitude was that of all the others, none of them would do anything without making sure it didn’t hurt them, and making sure they came out on top. What would happen if he used the card to go somewhere? And where would he go, anyway? He only knew a handful of people here– and he knew that both Roxas and Axel would be going to the one world with the other Nobodies. That left Tidus. “Spira, huh?” He looked down at the jagged edged card in his blue gloved hand and concentrated. Maybe fighting the Heartless would give him something to do.
((Awww, he's EMOING. xD *clocks out* Zidane Tribal has left the building. *Elvis hand gesture impressions*))

Copter
Oh yes, Rufus had the video feed ready. Indeed. The blonde had, over the years he had known Reno, made a little game out of getting one up on the red-head. This, so far, was taking the cake on all of his previous schemes. And he would keep it all to himself. Well... maybe he'd share it with Tseng.
Maybe.
He reluctantly put the camera back in it's hold, clicking the power off. Leaning back in his seat, the blonde let out a small sigh, wondering how long it was going to take to get everyone home again. Sure, Rufus wasn't one to complain when he was able to get out and see the world every now and again, but this was a bit much. Truthfully, he was starting to miss Edge and it's little oddities.
But he mostly missed his bed. And ok, his little coffeemaker that sat under the cabinet in the kitchen.
It was going to be a while before he would be able to return to any of that normal stuff, so he reminded himself to enjoy the insanity while it lasted. After all, it was not going to be easy wresting the Planet out of the heartless' hands. Or claws, whatever.
"Reno better make it quick."

Pride Lands, Oasis
Marina was currently occupied with finding her way out of these wicked nasty vines. No, she did not need help. She was a Turk and Turks were independent and could take care of things for themselves.
Then again, that was when she wasn't a lioness.
Finally feeling the vines snap off, she stalked forward, heading towards a small tunnel of light. No, not the bad kind. Marina was smarter than that. Poking her head out, she sniffed the air. Nothing bad here. That is, unless you counted the smell of Reno bad. Ugh. Even with fur, he still smelled vaguely of those cheap cigarettes he smoked.
"Reno!" She hissed, flicking her tail to get his attention.

Oasis
"Reno!"
Instantly, the red-headed lion stopped in his tracks, nearly by-passing the source of the voice. Half-stumbling over all four of his feet, Reno padded over the bushes. Finally! As if that didn't take forever. Now that Marina had been located, all he had to do was bring her back and they could finally get out of this damnable world. Reno was no longer sure whether he preferred the water or being a lion more.
"Nice fur," Reno chortled smugly. "I'm sure Tseng would love the new outfit."
With a flick of the tail, the Turk glanced down the path he came. "Lets just get the hell outta here," He suggested, bristling his fur. Vin was right. Fur itched like hell. Without a second thought, Reno lept forward and bounded through the jungle, leading Marina along.
He was ready to be out of here and fast. The sooner they got to the copters, the better.

Oasis and then the copter
Well, wasn't he just so graceful? Marina stifled a laugh (more like grunt purr thing with these vocal chords) as she stalked out of the shadows to join up with the loud mouth.
"Yours isn't any better, scruffy butt." She replied with just a touch of indignance. Truth was, Marina was a little wary of how Tseng would react to her having fur. They'd gone over the conversation part of it, but the actual reaction was always quite a bit different. Ears flicked forward as Reno moved suddenly, bounding forward and taking the lead. A little part of the lioness was irritated that he was the leader, but she shook it off... they were gonna be outta here soon anyhow.
Moments passed, and she found herself staring at the chopper with a strange awe-filled expression. It was a relief seeing something so familiar in this strange place. Taking a few steps forward towards the hovering crafts, Marina felt a jolt go through her.
The next thing she knew, she was staring at normal colored hands and properly clothed legs. Well, seemed like just being in the vicinity of something not from the Pride Lands changed one back.
"Much better." She was relieved to be back in her normal form after so long.
"You gonna throw a rope ladder down for me, Tseng?" Marina shouted up over the noise. The female Turk would be going with Tseng and Reno, while Vincent was going with boss man and Elena. Her eyes flicked to the side, seeing Reno and to her surprise, Vincent. The enigmatic lion man was heading towards the copters as she waited for the rope.
That saved them some trouble then.

The general vicinity near and around the copters
Reno held a swift pace and ran as if the devil was on his very heels. Finally. Finally he would be rid of these godforsaken worlds and could return to Gaia. There he would be surrounded by the same people... the same buildings... the same everything. But his adventures did prove to reveal some interesting information: Sephiroth. Was Rufus aware of his activities? And if so, what did he plan to do about it?
And then he met Hart.
If there was a reason to go back, it was for her. There was a strange feeling Reno got from her, unlike one he had ever felt around a woman before. Maybe this was for real unlike a certain secretary.
As the Turk neared the copter with Marina, he found himself standing on two feet once again, fully clothed, and considerably less itchy.
"You gonna throw a rope ladder down for me, Tseng?"
"What?" Reno grinned, looking up to the copter, awaiting the ladder. "You can't fly up there? Some Turk you are, M&M."

Marina.
Tseng looked up as he heard a familiar voice. Despite himself, however, he allowed himself a faint smile, a well-polished shoe nudging the rope ladder down the hatch even as he set the paper away. Well, Reno definitely took long enough. He'd been contemplating going down after them, but turning into a lion was not one of his agendas in his list of things to do.
Besides, he had been trying, for the past hour, to establish contact with the rest of the Turks. Following the chaos, the entire department had been scattered all over the place, and as much faith as he placed in his subordinates' considerable abilities, he couldn't help but be worried, just a little.
"Welcome back, Marina, Reno."
