another avatar doodle that exploded into a full blown illustration. i've got a few of these stashed for those slow times when i'm in a slump. this was when i had my avatar wearing simply the wind security blanket and the demonic pendant. i liked the atmosphere so much that i decided to forego the pendant since i thought that it would detract from everything else. this piece also signifies a collab between my boyfriend and i, since it's been awhile since we've put our heads together to color something. most of the time he's there to give me direction on detail, but here he did the clouds and the atmosphere, and i mostly worked on the girl and blanket and the overall design.

i sort of feel the same way, about the style. Now that he mentioned it, it does have that super deformed super made up quality akin to a bratz doll. I reall dont like those things.

otherwise, i think this is a fantastic collaboration. although i now little about your boyfriends work, i sort of gather that he's got a style very different than yours, or at least it's going in a different direction. It makes your collabs look interesting, both your techniques manage to come together really well.
