I can't send fish through trades, so I tried to put them up for sale in my shop at MysticfawN for more than they're worth and buy them from here, but apparently I need a trading pass to even use the marketplace, so I was going to send some gold to myself, but someone else bought my 46 Pink Seedkin. crying
Yeah, so I made a little profit, but now I can't buy that many back because people are asking ridiculous prices and they take so long to fish for...

The way to work it is by selling them in your shop. But if they are a gift, you wouldn't want her to pay for them, so you send her the gold first, and then she buys them and returns the gold.

Just make sure to make them more per fish than other people would buy them up for! I've had a few people try to give me fish and people buy them from their shops right away.
One person had a smart idea.. he set a price he wanted me to pay for them, say 10g each, and he put the BID price as that, and then put a ridiculously high buy price, and then once I'd bid, he accepted it. I didn't even know bids could be accepted as soon as they were made! I thought it was like on neo where time had to run out, and the highest bidder got it...

Ok, the auctioning thing with a high buy price also didn't work, as jelly and I just tried to negotiate a big pile of pink seedkin, and she clicked to accept my bid as soon as I made it, but then someone outbid me just before she clicked, and she accepted their offer by mistake.
So, maybe the only way to go about this is to put fishies for a buy price that's higher than what people would pay (I've seen them sell for 10g each, 20g each, and occasionally 30g each from that guy who tried to buy up almost 1000 fish to sell at once) and then send the money over in a trade or something. Or hopefully maybe Gaia will make a way to swap large amounts of fish around more easily.
Currently my PinkSeedkin avatar has 50g because I just earned enough for a vending license and spent it all!

Do you get them with this new fishing thing on the home page for gaia? I haven't attempted to try fishing yet so if someone explains how to get these, I can help too.
