Do you have a favorite punctuation mark, and if so what is it? I like the semicolon best (although I'm also very fond of the parenthesis); commas are pretty cool too, but too common to really be interesting.

Well, I wouldn't call it a 'favorite', but I enjoy showing people where a comma would go and where a semi-colon would go...
But question marks are interesting things indeed.

I like the upside-down exclamation marks and question marks they use in Spanish. Mucho bueno. 3nodding

I wouldn't say they're my favorite, but commas and I have become very close over the years. 3nodding Also, the exclamation mark "!". wink

The Satah I like "...". I forget what they're called. xD Ellipsis. My favorite is the period. Why? Because I use it a lot. It Prevents run-ons. And makes you sound smart. Every though you are rambleing. So you can use them. Like I am. o.o <~~~ You can make faces, also. >.>

My favorite has got to be the heifen. It's used so perfectly in the script of The Sound of Music (we're running a production of it at my school and I'm playing Friedrich, the oldest son) that I've grown accustomed to its face. :}.

I'm really rather partial to hyphens and semicolons. I'm not very fond of exclamation points in formal writing, though. xp

Rose McCann I'm not very fond of exclamation points in formal writing, though. xp Oh, me neither. There should be rules against exclamation point abuse.
