Let's put this thread to use, shall we? -mokona okay! i first liked the anime a lot but after reading the manga, i liked it more! even if there are only 19 clow/sakura cards, i think i like the manga more... i like the manga Kaho rather than anime Kaho! even if manga Kaho and manga Eriol admitted they love each other, or something like that. in the ccs artbooks, there was this part called "honeymilk tales" kinda like ccs oneshots, with the theme of honey milk... it was so cute! if anyone wants the scripted format, PM me, i'll send it whole-heartedly! (i love to share the kawaii-ness! 4laugh )

favorite character... oooh! SYAORAN-KUN!!!! and of course, SAKURA-CHAN! also Tomoyo-chan! ooh i just love them all!! xd
the advantage of the anime is the songs ^_^ most of the anime songs on my ipod are CCS (actually it's my mom's ipod, but i use it more than she does XD)
the advantage of the manga is... that it's the original story, the one drawn and written by CLAMP themselves. the anime has some parts added and taken off. Take Meiling for example. she wasnt in the manga, but she was added in the anime. the other cards, like sleep, rain, cloud, sweet, time, return, void/hope, arrow, bubbles, through, libra... and some others are just added to make the series longer, thus having 70 episodes. and of course they added stuff so that it'll be more interesting. since if you read the manga and it's exactly the same, it's no fun. XD i read the TRC manga first before watching. now i dont appreciate the whole anime since i know they changed some parts.. nevertheless i still watch it... ^_^
too bad they took off the white day part in CCS. that was funny when Syaoran mistaked the pencilcase for a chopstick box blaugh it was like
(both are nervous, with lots of little sweatdrops, and blushing)
Sakura: i'm sorry it's bad
Syaoran: n-no you made me this chopstick box...
Sakura: no.. it's a pencilcase..
Syaoran: no! i mean...
Sakura: no! it's fine! it's a chopstick box!
Syaoran: no! I can see it's a pencilcase! i've never seen such an impressive pencilcase!
blaugh that was so cute and funny!! sorry for the spoilers if someone hasnt read the manga yet

 It's somethin' unpredictable but in the end is right.
Ah, CCS. heart My most favorite series ever.
Touya/Yukito and Touya/Yue for the win! :3
I love both anime and manga, to be perfectly honest. I love the overall story of the anime but I prefer the ending to the manga and the finality that all the couples got, not just Syaoran and Sakura. Also, I love the inclusion of Meiling! She's so awesome in her hyper way. ^^;
Yukito and Yue are my top favorite characters 'cause Yukito is all sweet and cute and Yue is all cool and mysterious...and they are both totally gay for Touya. xD Thank you, CLAMP. ^^

i read ccs the manga before watching the anime. the anime turns out to be a let down. the manga i like better because at the end, we found out why sakura 1) owns the cards and 2) why she has magic at all.

Haha, I started liking this one when I first saw "CardCaptors" on TV, I didn't like the dub but the series caught my interest so I looked it up. I read the manga before I started watching the subbed anime, and I like both versions...but I like the manga a lot more for the artwork, cannon storyline and it has more of a closure in the end x3

I've read all volumes of Cardcaptor Sakura manga and I love it! I also watched anime and I think that it's great, too^^ My favourite character is Yue^^

OMG! I was obsessed with the show when I was a kid . I seen every episode and the movie which is really sad btw .
I Like Meilin she was cool .
Syoaron was awesome .
Sakura is awesome
Tomoyo was awesome
and Kero never shut up

Luv CCS. I watched both the eng. dub and the original Japanese version, after I read the manga. The eng. dub was terrible though, they excuded all the love seens between Sakura and Syaoran, I liked the original better. The manga was good 2, I luved the ending, I started the cry so hard, Sakura and Syaoran are so sweet. My fav character is Kero-chan, he is so funny. 3nodding
