News:

July 7th, 06- DDW's dracling appeared!

July 4th, 06- This journal was opened!

**Just a little something to get you started. What you write in this journal is up to you, though it should involve you rping that you're interacting with your dragon. First though, you have to get your dragon. Write a little story/description of a dream you've had or just one you've made up. I'll read this and use it to design your dragon. Please, don't say anything about the dragon itself, just the dream. Once I post in here with your dragon, you're free to keep posting whatever you want.

About:

This little girl has a great sense of direction. Even if she has never been somewhere before, she always seems to know where she is and how to find where you want to go. Her tail(s) help her in this feat, and this is probably why she has two of them instead of the usual one. The fin upon her head serves no real purpose except for decoration. Her eyes have no pupils, but she does still see out of them, and quite well, minus the occasional issue with depth perception.

The path and whatnot is how she ended up with two tails, so I thought it fitting, since it was mentioned in the dream, she be good with knowing where she is, even though she's not sure she's been there before.

"Ugh, that weekend trip to Gettysburg dragged on FOREVER!" Wolf said as she plopped down on her bed. She looked around her room, and then at the clock on her dresser. "11:30 already? Man, I'm so tired I don't think I'm even going to change into my Pajamas......." She kicked off her shoes, burrowed under the covers, and was asleep in a matter of seconds.

She slept kind of fitfully for a while, having small clipits of dreams that didn't make any sense. Then, she settled into a more peaceful sleep, and dreamed that she was at the edge of a Dense green forest. There was a thick, silvery-blue fog all around, and as she walked along the outskirts the forest, she came upon a path. She walked along it for a while, and when it branched off to the left and right, she took the right path. It conitnued on for quite a ways, and she heard the sound of a creek to her left, but the trees were so dense that she couldn't see it. There was a curve in the path only ten feet ahead, and she could tell that the path came to an end, though how, she didn't know. It was as if she had been here before. As she came to the end of the path, she stopped on the sandy shoreline of a beautiful, silver lake. The creek she had heard ran into the lake, and she could hear a waterfall at the far end. The fog seemed to rise out from the center of it, and everything was still. There were no birds singing, and there was no breeze. Walking through the forest, the birds were all singing, and there was a fresh, cool breeze, but now it seemed that the whole forest was holding its breath and listening. Wolf strained to hear anything, but there wasn't a sound. It was as if she had gone deaf. She turned around, and saw a shadow in the forest. She tired to back away, but found that she couldn't move. All she could do was watch as the shadow advanced out from the forest path.

As the creature stepped out from the shadows, somehow Wolf knew it was a lindwyrm. She also knew the creature's name was Khalida, and that she was the protector of this lake and some of the forest surrounding it. She was a beautiful lindwyrm, but somewhat unusual. She was an emerald green, had two tails instead of just one, and a silvery-gray ridge going down her neck. Her eyes were also a silvey-gray and had no pupils, but again Wolf knew without knowing that she could see, just with some depth perception issues.

"Welcome stranger called Wolf, to the land of Almahat. I am sure you already know my name, as I am connected to your mind, as you are to mine." Wolf opened her mouth trying to find her voice, but Khalida stopped her before she could. "I'm afraid I don't have any more time tonight, as you're about to wake, but dream again and we shall meet." She waved a paw dismissively, and the fog closed in around Wolf, blocking her sight.

"Wait, no! Come back! Come back! Come.....?" Wolf shot up and looked around here room, then flopped back down on her bed, wondering if it had just been a dream. But she heard a whisper in her head, "just dream again...", and she smiled.
