I just saw the first episode, and it's alright. The worst part about it though, is that you can't always tell what the actors are feeling through their voices (most of it is monotonous). They should do an english voiceover.

Like I said, it has some funny parts, but if it were in english, it would be tons better.

And it is monotonous, because most of the time the tones of their voices don't change, except for when they're screaming or yelling.

That is what I was saying. That's why I want it to be dubbed. Because the japanese don't put as much emotion into the script as english-speakers do, or at least it seems sthat way to me.

I think if the voice actors put a little more emotion into it, the anime would be awesome.

Besides, the voice of actors of Suzumiya Haruhi are awesome.
Yuuko Gotou does an awesome job dubbing Mikuru, must I say. Compared to the mid-level work she did on Kaede from SHUFFLE!, it's perfect. Aya Hirano [Haruhi] also has a dictator/princess-like voice, and gives a real feel of her character in this series. No complaints about it.

Oh sorry, my mistake. Even if it intends to make the rest of the anime better, it really ruins it for those kind of people who judge an anime by their first time viewing it.
