The rolling primal drum beats of the two leggedes washed over the land and seemed to shake the very ground which starshines golden hooves stood upon. She closed her indigo eyes and just listened, opening her heart and mind to what could be, to the meaning the two leggeds where trying to convey. Her colorful tail flicked against the ground as she opened her eyes once more. Her gaze landed on the stallion at her side. She'd barely met him before his calm demore and spirtual side had challenged her mind and way of looking at the world. Starshine smiled and looked over to the east where the villagers danced to the drums. 'Yes, I like being challenged...' she thought to herself, it had been a long time since she had had this much fun.

Kanati smiled at Starshine watching to see her reaction.
The wind whipped his mane around his face as he turned to look at the village just as she turned to look at him. The words of the two leggers washed over him as he listened to the meaning.
"What do you think they are singing about Starshine?" his deep almost echoing voice breaking through the drums and chants.

Her indigo eyes looked at him with determination, he was truely wise to the ways of the world, and she was eager to learn. She closed her eyes once more and stilled her mind. Her velvet ears flicked to the side as she attempted to understand the meaning behind their strange sounds. "a praise... a thankfullness...I think." she said at length. Her eyes opened again as she turned her eyes to the dancing figures. "They do seem happy... "

Kanati giggles at the last remark. "You are right. They are singing and dancing a song of praise to the harvest spirits." Kanati smiled at her readiness to learn. "Would you like to go closer?"

Starshine looked at him with a smirk." Of course I would, But its is safe to do so?" she asked looking back at the dancing figures. Her tail flicked as she spyed the horses around the village. They looked content enough, but then again lingering in the back of her mind was the fact that their breed was unlike that of other horses. Her horn gleemed in the fading sunlight and caused her a bit more worry. Yet...there was a clamness in the air, a stirring of the heart caused by the primal drums. With a smile Starshine threw caution to the wind and took off at a brisk trot closer to the village.

Kanati trotted after her letting out a whinny.
One of the dancers stopped and left the circle where the two leggers had been dancing. He walked towards the edge of the village on the side Starshine was running towards."Osiyo!!!! Agatahnai sawu gago na gvdodi nihi?Nihi adalii navi udlanvdadehv?"the human called out.((Hello! Wise onewho is that with you?Your wife by chance?)) Kanati snorted a laugh before catching up with Starshine.

Starshine giggled as she heard Kanati whinny behind her. Her golden hooves flashed against the ground as she trotted on. Her long viberant tail flicked against the ground as she turned to look at the two legger approching them. She shyed back, staying away from the strange shouting thing as Kanati laughed at its strange words. Her ears flicked forward and she slowly approched the two, feeling no harm would come from this one. If Kanati trusted it, so would she. "What did it say?" she asked curiously.

Kanati aproached the highly decorated two legger.
The human reached out and patted Kanati on his neck.
"He was just greeting us and asking if you were my wife." Kanati laughed before licking the human over and over.
"Halewista na!" (stop that) the human giggled."Aya aqua nihi tsadu'li
svgata,duyugidv?"(I know you want apples,right?)the two legger asked before taking off his headdress and heading towards one of the teepee before turning to say."Ageyv uwoduhi." (She's pretty)before returnting to what he was doing. Kanati laughed again.
"He going to get us a snack." Kanati's turned to watch the remaining dancer.
"They are such interesting creatures.I hope they never change." Kanati said before turning to smile at Starshine.

Starshine chuckled at the mention of her possably being his mate. She shook her head with a coy smile and focused on the dancing and the beat of the primal drums. "Oh really? " she asked after a length of time. "I wish I could understand them as You do..." she said with a small huff, and a flick of her colorful tail. "A treat? Such as what?" she asked turning her eyes to look back upon Kanati. These creatures where strange indeed, and she honestly didnt know what to make of it all. But Kanati seemed right at home with them...she had to learn to relax that was all. Strange things often set her alarms, perhaps this calm would come in hearing what the spirits would tell her, secrets Kanati could hear. She smiled softly and sighed, expelling all the negitive thoughts she was feeling and again watched the dancers in the distance.

"Understanding them comes from years of listening to them.
But I could teach you later if you wish.Tayen most of the time gives me apples. Ever had apples? They are my favorite." Kanati seemed to be acting abit like an excited foal as the dancer came back with four apples in his hands and Kanati almost ate both of his in one bite.
((I think we should have them go home and then meet eachother the next day, Ive forgotten where I was going with this plot xd sweatdrop ))

Starshine nodded and smiled. "Yes, I Rather like apples because they can be both tart and sweet." she giggled softly and sliped to Kanati's side as the two legger brought them the delightful treat. Her viberant tail flicked against the lush green grass as she daintil bit down into the apple.

((lets wrap this one up and Ill look for the post from that one rp and we can continue from there, where they wake up from her sleeping in his teepee))
With a pice of apple still hanging out of his mouth he watched as she daintily bit into her's. And with that what was left of his he nibbled on like a gantly man. Seeing this the two legger laughed.
The music soon after died and some one called out to the man.
He put what was left of the apples infront of them then patted Kanati goodnight and patted Starshine gently before running to the village.
"Hmm the sun is going down. I suppose we should retire for the night." Kanati said after finishing his apple.

Starshine nodded as the fading sun glinted off her golden horn. "It would seem so.." she said after swollowing her last mouthful of apple. She smiled and droped her gaze to meet his own. "It was a Pleasure to meet you Kanati..Im sure we'll meet again." she giggled and shook her head, her mane spilling over her pure white shoulders like a splash of liquid rainbow. She turned heel and took off on a sprint towards the forest where she made her home.

Kanati watched her leave feeling a sinking as she did.
"Goodbye for now." The winds then blew around him whispering in his ear and he smiled then took off to his home.

Starshine blushes softly as he nuzzled her, but she returned the gesture happy to see that he was alright. "As am I. Do you know whats going on? Everything seems to have changed lately..even the wind doesnt feel as comofrting." she said with a frown. "I dont like it at all. "Shariea The mare shook her head, what horror was this? She let out a shrill whinny and closed her eyes, she didnt want to believe such things. "No.. why would the spirits bring such ill will upon us... I dont want to be controlled.." she said with another shake of her head. His words echoed in her mind. "Can we stop them?" she asked, her voice pleeding..she wanted the harmony back to the land, for things to be peaceful as they had once been. With but a moment her world shattered around her, and deep down she knew that nothing would ever be the same. Her tail lashed against the ground, and her knees shook. She couldnt stay still, fear stabbed at her heart. Naysha Aysha Kanati watched her for a moment before walking to stand beside her. Kanati had always taken things by himself and never been comforted, but still something told him what to do though he did not know if it would work. He brushed agaisnt her and his tail wrapped around her legs abit. Kanati nuzzled her muzzle again before speaking.
"Elawii nihi(quite you) will be safe.Aya ahani(Im here), anisgina wili nasigi
ulunita nihi(bad spirits will not tame you).Unesdala has gone to gather other soquillis as well as his family we will not be unpropared and if nothing else there is enough land that we can move away from the pale faced demons." Kanati said nuzzling her. Shariea Starshine closed her eyes as he moved close to her, His warmth was claming and soothed the chill her felt aching in her bones. She pressed her muzzle against his own in thanks for his careing, and lightly leaned against him. "Im glad, and believe what you say. We'll be safe...although it sadens me that we may have to leave this place... I feel as if Ive only just arrived here. " she sighed softly, her right hoof pawing at the soil. "Do you suppose the others feel this un-ease?" she didnt know how any living creature couldnt feel it, or hear the whispers of the animals in the forests... but perhaps some just ignored it or didnt pay attention. It would be horrable if some where caught unaware..and enslaved by those white two leggers. Starshine shuddered at the very thought, free will broken to do the bidding of another. Naysha Aysha Kanati frowned and closed his eyes.
"I have always lived here and Ive learned mainly lessons on the very plains the white two leggers now invade I will miss my home but I must stay free and keep others free." Kanati pinned his ears down at the mention of others. "Others I supose are more accepting of change than I am. As far as soquillis Im not sure, but some of the humans wish to talk to the pale faces and teach them that they are treating the soquillis wrongly, but thoses pale faces thoses creatures they do not seem like ones ready to listen to another's words. They certainly do not hear the screams of pain the spirits of the land were yelling as the burned the earth and split the trees." Shariea Starshine shuddered at his words, she too longed to remain free and the talk of the spirits screaming as the earth burned and the trees fell feed that deep seed of fear. She shuddered again and shook her head, her eyes down cast. "I can barely stand to hear about it, lest I be overcome with fear and emotion. I feel like weaping and running at the same time, I want to scream and take flight, Oh that I where a Bird and could fly away from this place. Yet.. at the same time I want to stay and do what I can to keep this place free despite my own fears. Part of me holds hope that these pale faced two leggers, though un hearing the cries of the land, may listen to our kind two leggers of the village. How I long for the blissful day of listening to the drum beats...when this fear was far off and long coming. When I was blissfully unaware...." Naysha Aysha Starshine's words dirfted through Kanati mind . Kanati thought that even though she was frighten her words were collected and wise. Kanati to wished to go back to that day in which they had listened to the drums together and were ignorant to the worries of the pale foes.
What if he was passing judgment to quickly, but is not better to be safe then sorry. Kanati sighed missing the gently breeze of the calm spirits songs whipping around his face.
"Starshine I think we should move futher away from the pale faces till we can meet with other soquilli and talk or find out more about the pale faces. It is to late to travel tonight, do you mind if we stick together? You can sleep in my teepee and Ill sleep outside and keep gaurd." Kanati asked not wanted to live her by herself. Shariea She nodded softly and pressed her muzzle to his once more, with a strained smile. "Alright, I think I would feel safer there... I'll trade watch with you. You'll need your sleep too in the coming days.. I can already feel that something is going to change. I can only hope that it is for the better and not for the worse as we all fear." She sighed and let him lead the way back to his teepee where she would spend the night in his care. Her dreams filled with nightmares of stange two leggers and slavery.
