My kitty's got bald spots on his sides and leg...he's got a vet appointment for 11 tomorrow.

That's a strange thing to happen. Hope he turns out fine.

My amateur diagnosis, without seeing it: either mange or skin allergies. Good luck.

Alrighty, they weren't sure of what was wrong with him, but guessed it was a psychological problem since the bald patches were almost symmetrical. They gave him a shot and sent us home. He was so good, he didn't bite, scratch or yowl. He was just sniffing everything.

I'm glad to hear he was well behaved. It's always better that way. Hopefully he'll be good as new again (and not bald) very soon!

Well, I'm glad it was nothing more serious than that. Hope the treatment does the trick.
I have a white cat who hates the vet so much that when I put her in the carrier to take her in, she poops and pukes all over herself. She goes in the carrier white, comes out brown and smelly. Poor baby. But, when we get home, she goes to work cleaning herself, and by the next morning, she's sparkling white again.

I'd go with an allergy, or maybe mosquito bites... itching, scratching, that sort of thing.

I think it was something more serious, now. He lost weight as well as lost fur... and now he's d*ad...

No. They just thought it was psychological. *sigh*

My grandfather willed himself to die. It's weird, but it happens.
