I'm collecting the names of people who would quite happily put their gender-twisting abilities to the test, and am soon to throw them in amongst the steamed pile of angst that will be this contest.
The contest remains quite true to its name. All participants must switch to the opposite gender of their character. So, I, for example, would be switching to male - despite that being my true gender. The reason for this is because most of the people who went against their genetics prior to this contest probably forgot what acting like their own gender was really like!
There is no time limit for this contest. It will run from the start until... 2010, if so desired. The goal of the contest is to keep to your gender as much as possible. That means, you must dress, act, and conform to the ways of your new-found gender. The person who survives the longest wins 10,000g! By "survives", I mean who lasts the longest without switching back to their initial gender.
You also must be active in the guild - as in, post at least a few times a day. I can tell who's active, and if you're not, you'll be kicked out immediately. This applies quite literally. If you use a mule account to enter, you must remain active on that. I'll have the final say on what falls under this category.
There is also a bit of a twist here that I should mention. You must act like this
throughout Gaia. Sure, there are some places we can't see - other guilds, for example - but we CAN see your posts and profile. If I catch anybody breaking out of character without changing their gender (and therefore quitting the contest), they will be up for "elimination" immediately.
It's quite simple, really. All other people in the contest will be given 24 hours to contact me saying whether or not the person should remain in the contest. In the event of a tie, a public poll will be posted, which will last for 24 hours. If the result of that is also a tie, then the person
will be out of the contest.
Also note that I may need time to earn the required gold so that I may pay you. Generally it shouldn't take more than a week, but depending on time restraints, it may take any amount of time.
While I generally won't have any reason to change the rules of this contest, they're quite open to change at any given time. By joining this contest, you acknowledge that these rules may change in any way, shape, or form.
