Man, I'm sick of that stupid debate. They're different ends of the spectrum that just happen to be fads currently. There isn't much to compare: ninjas are stealthy while pirates are more of the 'OMFG WERE GONNA BLOW YOU UP NOW'.
Personally, to hell with both. I'm so sick of hearing about both pirates and ninjas. Platypi is where it is. They have poison...IN THEIR ANKLES!
