Throughout all of Dragonball Z, Tien and Krillin have both had relatively equal strength, and both have had their own unique high points.



Here's some points on Tien:

Techniques:
-Dodonpa (narrow explosive and piercing beam)
-Tri-Beam (intense Ki force blast)
-Kamehameha Wave (extremely powerful Ki beam)
-Solar Flare (blinding flash of light that lasts for about 10 seconds)
-6 Arms Attack (grows 4 extra arms, with 6 in total)
-Split Form (makes 3 more duplicates of himself)
-Ki Blasts
-Ki Flight

-Tien has a third eye, giving him more awareness of what is going on around him

-Tien has held Cell back for a long duration of time using his Tri-Beam while nobody else could do such a thing

-Tien had a better mastery of his techniques than Krillin during Dragonball

-Tien was able to learn and use the Kamehameha Wave after only seeing it demonstrated. He never practiced it before. This shows quick mastery of techniques

-Tien was one of the first to master Ki Flight

-Tien recieved training from North Kai

Disadvantages:
-Loses life force when overusing the Tri-Beam

Here's some points on Krillin:

Techniques:
-Kamehameha Wave (extremely powerful Ki beam)
-Destructo Disk (can cut anything in it's path)
-Split Blast (divides one huge blast into 5 other blasts)
-Solar Flare (blinding flash of light that lasts for about 10 seconds)
-Ki Blasts
-Ki Flight

-Krillin managed to cut off Frieza's tail with the Destructo Disk while nobody else could touch Frieza at the time

-Krillin's Split Blast would be an excellent counter against Tien's Split Form

-Krillin's Destructo Disk is fatal when hitting a major body part

-Krillin managed to destroy all but 1 of the Saibamen while the other Z fighters were just struggling with just one each

-Krillin was able to use the Spirit Bomb against Vegeta with no prior experience using it. This shows quick mastery of techniques

-Krillin's hidden potential was unlocked by Guru

Disadvantages:
-None imparticular

But Tien isn't completely human. Tien is actually part God, as his third eye is a trait that is posessed by only God-like beings. That would make Tien half-human, which doesn't classify him as a complete human like Krillin.

And Krillin has no nose. And Humans have a nose.

I Think they would end up in a draw, they'd never fight to the finish because one or the other would get tired and call it a fight saying "nice sparring with ya" or something. But if push comes to shove, TIen would win because he's more ruthless and would have less of a problem employing lethal force against a friend. (or so i think)

Seeing as how Tien held back Cell, a being with an absolutely massive power advantage, by using his Tri-Beam(Kikoho, yes), my guess is that it would wipe out a fighter of approximately equal strength. That, and the fact that it moves a bit faster than destructo disc is likely the edge that Tien needs in an otherwise stalemate battle.

I dont think he is part god, I think he was part Demon not god, the third Eye is a demon thing not a god thing.

Krillin is the 2nd strongist Human in DBZ histry, Uub is stronger.

I believe it was stated, at some point or another, that Krillin was the strongest human. Excluding Uub.

I'm going to give Krillin my vote. Tien is strong, yes, and was a rather powerful character in Dragonball. He also proved himself against Cell.

But Krillin has proved himself plenty of times as well, I believe others have already mentioned his performance against the Saibamen and also against Frieza.

It would be an interesting fight, though.

In Dragonball Z, Krillin is actually stronger than Uub. Only in GT does Uub become stronger than Krillin.


That fact does not help Krillin much, considering that Tien was able to hold back Cell, an opponent far stronger than Frieza or Saibamen.

If the Kikoho could merely hold back Cell, an opponent far stronger than Tien, it could do some heavy damage on Krillin, a fighter almost equal to Tien.
