crying crying crying She had a seizure while I was out tonight. My mom called to tell us, and she was gone before we even hung up. crying Sable was my beautiful mixed breed that looked just like a flat-coated retriever. And my furry daughter, and part of my heart. And now, she's gone. gonk crying crying crying crying crying

Oh no I'm so sorry! That's so hard to deal with. I worry every day that something bad might happen to my dog and that I wont be able to see him again.

I thought, when my mom called, and it sounded bad, that it was her dog, Sable's momma. Tessa is 10yrs old. Sable was 7yrs old. crying

Losing a pet is so hard, I'm sure most all of us have expirenced it before, I know I have. I'm sorry for your loss, she really was a pretty dog.

Thank you for all your support. It means alot to me. I'm still sad, but it doesn't hurt as much as it did. We buried her on sunday, wrapped in her/my favorite blanket, under her favorite tree. Which was really hard, because it was a pine tree. rolleyes She has a ring of stones, which just happened to fall in a heart shape, and a little headstone with her name on it. And, as a good friend told me, all good dogs go to doggie heaven. And so do BAD squirrels. twisted

I remember when my dog died. He actually had to be put down, or else he would have suffocated to death. His heart was about 3 times it's natural size, and everytime his heart would beat, it pushed against his esophogus/windpipe and he couldn't eat or breathe well. He was only 9 years old. He died the night of my school's homecoming dance, and I remember putting on extra makeup because my mom and I were holding each other crying earlier.
My mom wanted another child, but after my brother and I were born, she couldn't physically have another baby, or else she'd probably die. So we got a dog instead, and he was her baby. Everytime the subject of death comes up, like my Uncle who just recently passed away, she starts crying over our dog. She sometimes stays up late crying over him, and it's almost been a year since he died. He's buired in our garden in front of the house, because he always sat in the window and fell asleep by that same garden, so he'll aways be there, still guarding us.

I'm so sorry!Every day I am glad that my dog is still here,and my cat,who barely survived.That must be so terrible,I am sure he is in a better place.
