The Den
(Mother's Den & Nursery)
The Den is an inner sanctuary, warm and cozy deeply burrowed under the general Arbor tunnels, where kits and expecting does are kept safe and calm.
It acts as a nursery, as well as occasionally a refuge for the wounded or elderly that need some quiet or care.
It consists of one large area that several bunnies can move around in, and some alcoves around the edges that are more private. These alcoves have comfy nests lined with soft fur tufts and bits of grass.
Visitors are welcome but will quickly be shooed away if they are loud or unruly! The warren culture generally thinks of this as a Pinks/Does only area.
A gentle doe Fivespot oversees the Pinks and spends much time in the den when there are kits to be raised and young mothers to assist.
