*Personality: Maya is somewhat proud and caring, she tends to like everyone. But she always has a weird gut feeling for those she feels she should not trust, so it doesn't apply to everyone. She likes to make new friends, and takes care to see everyone full of smiles. Despite that, she is not always what is shown through her smiles. She struggles with crippling depression and total anxiety, but she's just really good at hiding that from others. She doesn't want anyone pitying her or feeling bad, so she locks that side of her away, plus she doesn't really like talking about her feelings, that's a biggie. Maya can be a little shy at first meeting, but she can open right up when she gets to know someone better, someone who she feels comfortable with. While this may be a terrible habit, she tends to wander off when something peeks her curiosity, and likes to make fun games out of things that would otherwise be considered boring. This includes her various knight work, sometimes it'll range from playing hide and seek, to tag while making headway. Just some light fun, needless to say she isn't the best at her job. Though teasing can be fun and hilarious sometimes, she can get a bit sensitive if done wayy too much and often. However, Maya can take insults quite well, words are nothing to do, and as a knight it is her job to not let that get to her. If it's a sensitive topic, than it will effect because that does piss her off. However, finding a sensitive topic can become just as difficult.
*Bio (At least 8 sentences): Maya grew up during poor times, times were hard than for her parents and they struggled day by day to get by. She even had a younger sister five years later. Growing up with her, she never fought with her. They were the greatest friends almost immediately, playing and having so much fun together. Even after some more years passed and she could go out alone with her, she watched over her. Anyone who dared tried to hurt her weather physically or mentally, would get a hard punch to the face. They shopped together, played games, trained together, they were never apart. However, one day after stepping out for the day to have fun with her little sis, they came back to find the home a blaze. Maya told Kiana to wait there, and ran over towards the house. There were three guards outside, they told her she could not go inside as it was too dangerous, and that unfortunately, her parents had not survived. That news..that was enough to tear her apart emotionally. She loved her mom and dad..they were almost like best friends. But she couldn't let Kiana know what happened..she couldn't know or it might break her too. Maya choked back her tears, and nodded them, returning to her sister. She told her the house was on fire yes, but her parents luckily weren't home. They later went to their funeral, but she told her it wasn't anyone they knew and hid the fact it was their parents.
Days had passed, and Kiana began asking her where mom and dad was..she just told her they were off on a long journey. So, they would have to get their own place until they return. She took great care of her sister, fed her, bought her things, smiled with her. That was until one day, money was tight and she wanted to use her only resources she knew, protecting, so she trained and became a knight. Similar to her own past, she didn't want anyone to ever go through such tragedies, so she wanted to help protect those in need. Of course that meant leaving her little sis..but she had no choice. Maya didn't want to make her sad, so she said she'd have to get her someone to watch over her. She cried, apologizing so many times, and told her she could not stay with her anymore. It broke her heart to say it, but it's life. Life wasn't fair. She told her there were others who would need help. But she'd still visit every second she could! Before leaving, she hugged her sis and told her she loved her. With that, she set out. The adult she hired to watch her was a long time best friend, he's the only one she'd trust.
