Personality:
- Cold, almost snobby. Saya doesn't pay much mind to anything that isn't the welfare of her kingdom or her lover, Naoki. While she does appear heartless, she actually cares deeply about the people of her kingdom and wishes to see them prosper.
Bio:
- Morimoto tradition was for the women to take the throne while male children were trained as advisors for said queen. Saya was born into the family after a long line of males and was the only female of her generation. Her seven older brothers hold positions varying between advisors of trade to military generals. Since before she could walk, Saya had been learning the history of the kingdom she would one day rule. She took lessons on the art of magic and sword fighting as soon as she took her first step.
Naoki was a daughter of the elder family, Hikari, a direct descendant from the original Itomori Wolves. The Hikari and Morimoto families were close and
the Hikari's were valuable voices when it came to political matters. Naoki had accompanied her father to one of the meetings between the families, as Saya had accompanied her own mother. The two were of similar age, and Saya was soon finding any reason she could to see the other girl.
At the age of 17, Saya struck down her own mother in order to take over the kingdom of Itomori. Talk of war had been the only thing on anyone's mind, and Saya's mother had been planning to take the first step into battle. Her mother was focused on the glory it would bring Itomori and the prosperity that would follow. Saya saw how much it would devastate the small kingdom, if it didn't wipe out the Beastmen altogether. Her mother wouldn't back down no matter how much Saya plead --the queen was backed by a line of greedy advisors and blood-thirsty military officials who insisted war was the only option. After Saya's takeover, the advisors and military officials were replaced by her own brothers and cousins. It was a clean-slate that began an era of peace within Itomori. Naoki remained close to Saya to provide support, advice, and companionship.
Naoki died 2 years after Saya took the throne. She had been exploring Grove's Edge when an escaped human slave struck her down with her own sword. Since then, Saya has been reclusive, keeping only the company of a reanimated Naoki. Her rulings were passed down through loyal messengers: the reanimated bodies of small creatures. Communication with the queen was limited to such, and anyone who tried to take her crown was met with a poisonous adder bite.

- The most basic form of Necromancy. Saya can "bring life back" to any number of creatures. Small creatures cost almost nothing, while reanimating a large creature or person takes a lot of energy and concentration. The power of the creature being reanimated also plays into how much magic is consumed. Saya is currently limited on her magic because of her constant concentration on keeping Naoki reanimated.
- Tail Growth
- With her genetic makeup and some magical influence, Saya can grow extra tails or "limbs" or extend her existing tail. She can grow up to 8 extra limbs or extend her single tail 8 times in length (or any combination in between).
- Graft
- Again with genetics and a little magic, Saya can graft her own skin onto other parts of herself or onto other beings. She developed this ability when Naoki's body began to show signs of decomposition even after reanimation.
- Sacrifice
- Saya can eat any of her reanimated creatures to regain magical energy from them (this can include cannibalism). This can also give her a boost of magical energy if needed but will eventually dissipate if not used.
