It was summer in the swamp, which meant that it was hot, and so humid that the heavy air seemed to cling to Errant's...bountiful locks, making them curlier than usual. Picking his way through some of the firmer ground around one of the clearer pools in the area, he couldn't help but envy Truce a little bit - the feathered serpent was slithering easily through the squidgy mud, using his wings occasionally for a little extra lift.

Stopping by the water's edge, his attention was captured by a pair of dragonflies, linked intimately together. Watching them for a moment, he smiled - even the insects of the swamp had a sense of romance, it would seem. Tilting his head slightly, he wondered what courtship between dragonflies was like. If only he could ask them...

The snowflakes fell gentle around her person, melting just as soon as they hit the warm soil. But for her, it was perfect. Keeping her long fur from matting against her skin, even as she bobbed and weaved through the trees. The bunnies were home and sleeping, resting from the too-strong warmth in their burrows. Which... she loved them, truly! But it was blessed to have a break from keeping them all in line, to simply be alone with her thoughts.

Gone approached the pool, lowering her head to the water to drink, when she spotted the buck across the way. He was impossible to miss, as bright as he was. Her ears snapped back and she looked rather embarrassed, taking a few steps back from the water.

"B-begging your pardon. I didn't mean to interrupt." It wasn't the buck that made her nervous, but the great serpent that trailed behind him. Her blue eyes went to the snake and back, as if uncertain as to whether or not the thing would strike at her if she attempted to leave.

"I'll. I'll just. Be going. If it's alright."
