1988: a very important year for two reasons...
The first being that it was the year I was born
The second being that it was the year that Red Dwarf was first aired...
When I say I grew up with Red Dwarf I mean it!!

I was born 83...so by the time it was aired I must have been five. Clearly my parents deemed that a suitable age for smeg, goits and sexual inuendo!! rofl
You just don't really get it at that age.....

I was born 1988 and i grew up with it too ^_^ I watched it so much when i was young my role model in life was lister whee thats probably why im so messed up now.

1985 for me. I always identified with poor Rimmer. Now I am just like him. I wonder what I would have turned out like if I was more of a Kryten girl.

yeah i was born in 1980
i used to have my friend Dean over to stay, we'd watch red dwarf, the young ones followed it, and we used to eat sweets.
last i heard dean was on smack and in prison, havnt seen him in at least 14 years.
but ive been watching young ones and rd all this time.

I'm young and immature...I wasn't born in 1988...and wouldn't be born for another four years...
Didn't see RD till I was 9 though, technically not growing up with it! neutral

i was born in 1990 and so wasn't really brought up on Red Dwarf though my parents loved it i just didn't see why it was sooooo amusing until recently.....so yeah ....im new to it. sweatdrop but i still lub it!! heart

I watched it from a young age too, and didn't get some of the jokes until later on. But thats a good thing because it as like watching it brand new all over again. smile
