- ↳The user can manipulate animals into being their subordinate, creating a connection between human and beast. Once it has been established, with complete meditation the user can see through the animal’s eyes, tap into their senses such as hearing, and speak to others. The animal must be within range of its user in order to feed off of the magic supply. Once it is out of range, the raiment cannot keep the body stable so it will begin to decay, eventually dissolving the living being into a mess of black goo. The more powerful the raiment, the longer distance can be had between the user and familiar.
If the animal is injured or perishes from other sources, the connection is immediately severed. Its physical traits do not change side from gaining the ability to speak. So long as the animal stays within the user’s range, their connection can remain permanent.

- ↳ Martial arts: it is a tradition in his family to pass on knowledge of physical combat. He can also wield a sword but he is far from being a master with a blade.
↳ Energetic: he's always on the go and with his high amount of energy comes a bright smile. It helps him accomplish things.

→ Personality:
- Jei is a pleasant individual who usually has a bounce in his step. He enjoys the company of others and can get quite chatty if he's excited. His heart is generally in the right place but he is prone to made erratic decisions due to his personal feelings on the issue. Friends are incredibly important to him. It is rare to witness Jei in a bad mood although he normally remains quiet and in his own thoughts should it occur. Despite his cheerful attitude, he is self deprecating and strives hard for accomplishment rather than failure.

- ↳ Growing up in a small peaceful village within the mysterious land of Mistun, life felt confined. Jei’s mother was a servant for their Lord while his father served as a soldier. As a child Jei would aid his mother with her work while also sneaking away to play with the lord’s kids or the household cats. He’d tell his mother how he saw the world through Mister Fluffy’s eyes but she brushed it off until she noticed the cat looking distressed whenever it was a certain distance away from her son. When they were leaving the lord’s manor to do some shopping around the village, the other servants witnessed the feline dissolve into a mess of black goo.
Jei’s mother was suspicious that it had something to do with her son. So were the other servants. They feared that there was a dark evil presence within the child and that he needed to be purified through spiritual rituals. His parents brought him to the local shaman who recognized the boy’s knit, informing them that it was indeed dark but certainly not evil so long as he was raised right. When Jei turned 14, he began to study under the shaman in order to understand the rarity of his knit and the struggles that Tenebraer have faced in the world. The withering old man educated him diligently until his natural passing years later. The small town wasn’t enough for Jei anymore so he kissed his mom goodbye, shook his father’s hand, and left to explore the world for himself.
His travels eventually took him to the famed Grand Academy of Eoana. The tales that were shared to him as a child seemed to be true for there was a level of uncertainty when it came to Tadfaer and Tenebraer users. Jei didn’t fancy the idea of people like him fearing being cast aside due to something they couldn’t control so he applied for the Tadfaer/Tenebraer teaching position at the academy. The knowledge that was given to him needed to be shared with others. He has not taught a class before but he is terribly excited to become a part of the faculty.
