"Like all things, practice makes perfect," Q'ara would answer as she watched over both Thanya and Lelyna as they practiced the spell. They had run through several seeds the both of them, with Thanya taking the lead and working out the spell perfectly. Lelyna was still perfecting the spell, but at this point, it was only a matter of practice, Q'ara could see that she understood and had already learned all that could be learned to cast the spell. Now they simply needed to master it, and that would be something for them to practice on their own.
Deciding to move on, Q'ara would lift her hand to catch their attention, and walk over to their desk to remove the plants. Gently, she would place a piece of coiled copper on each of their desks before starting to speak. "Now we are going to move onto a spell called 'Lumos'," She would say as she took a step back from them and brought her hands up in front of her. "This is a very basic light based spell, using one of the components that we used before to test your magically accuity. 'Tamil'." She would say while turning to look at them both. "'Ilum Sve Tamil'!" She would say abruptly before a powerful spark of light iluminated not only her hand, but shine brightly upon everything in the room. After a moment, she closed her hand and the light dissipated into nothing. "This spell compels the 'ilumination' of 'all' forms of 'light'," She said with a slight matter of fact tone. "And it is with this spell that we will be learning about 'Spell Alternation'," She said with a whimsical smile as she lifted her hand once more, looking to them both with an expression that could only ask one thing. Are you ready?
"'Ilum Rau Tamil!'" She would suddenly say briskly as her hand illuminated in a brilliant red light. "'Ilum Glais Tamil'," She would let out while holding her other hand up, and a brilliant green light would form billowing out and making half of the room green. In the areas where the red and green light mixed, a faded shade of yellow light could be seen, seemingly blending from Red to yellow to green as she held her hands up. She closed her hands then and both colors faded into nothing. Then she placed both of her hands in front of her facing towards them. "'Ilum Rau Glais Rau Tamil!'," She would suddenly let out and in her hand in front of them, a brilliant orange light billored out and filled the room before dissipating once more as she closed her hands. "This is 'Spell Alternation'," She would say with a giggle as she looked at their eager and surprised faces.
"Wanna learn?!" She said rhetorically, already knowing the answer. "We shall start with the basic spell, Ilum Sve Tamil, As you both already know, 'Tamil' is the word of power for the component of 'light'. You remember how to conjure it yes?" She would ask intermittenly, giving them a chance to answer before moving on. "So then we must learn about the other two, 'Ilum', and 'Sve'." She said lightly as she sat in front of them and gave them the main lesson for the day, teaching them both about the meaning behind 'Ilum' which meant 'Iluminate' and 'Sve' which meant 'All'. She would explain that because this spell had different variants that could be cast, it had Alternations that needed to be specified. In the meantime, that specification would be 'All'. So 'Ilum Sve Tamil' was the words of power for 'Iluminate All Light'. "Ok... Now you try..."
