- tab tab Corina was born the only child to the leaders of the Silivasi Gypsy caravan in Romania. Her own birth was one fraught with peril as she was dying while being brought into the world, but was saved when an Seraph named Ariyana merged with her soul and body, saving her from an untimely demise as a newborn. As she grew up, Corina learned the magic that was natural to her. She didn’t really face much trouble until her teens as demons started to prowl about, wanting to take the gypsy’s magic, and use her for their own perverse reasons. However, they couldn’t as the caravan was protected by the Sin of Wrath, who had made a contract with the caravan centuries ago in order to be unaffected by supernatural creatures. However, this contract ended not long after Corina’s 18th birthday. When this was discovered, a band of demons led by one named Zuel came into the caravan, slaughtered everyone, burnt down the homes of the Silivasi gypsies, and captured Corina. Zuel tortured and taunted the female, wanting her to give in willingly to his demands, and make her feel broken.
This would not happen as Corina soon tapped into Ariyana’s powers, killed a majority of Zuel’s men, and escaped, gathering what few items that survived from the carnage of her caravan before running. Over the next few years, Corina moved from place to place around the world, and at one point, stayed with the Sukikyo clan, who welcomed her with open arms. It was also during this time she discovered that Ariyana’s being had imprinted on her soul for so long, she was gaining angelic abilities. With some help from Ariyana, they found a necklace that allowed the Seraph to leave Corina’s body, and have her own. During this while, the Seraph began teaching what she could to the female Gypsy, but tragedy came when Corina was 22. Zuel had found her and Ariyana, and the two females faced off against the demon. At last, Zuel was defeated, but at the cost of Corina being severely injured, and Ariyana fatally wounded. As a parting gift before going back to Heaven, Ariyana blessed the Gypsy with the powers of an angel, thus ending Corina’s life as a human, and the beginning of a fledgling angel.
Though heartbroken at the loss of her longtime friend and companion, Corina trudged on, and began seeking out those who could help her learn to control her newly granted powers. Thankfully, there were angels who were able to teach her flight and to control her angelic powers, though cautioned her on her emotions, and not to be overwhelmed. Over the next century or so, Corina traveled around the world to help others, and stop creature of darkness from terrorizing the innocent. Every time, though, she came back to the Sukikyo compound, as she saw the Japanese clan as another family. The last time she saw them was years ago, though at hearing that Shou was taken a couple years later, devoted her time in trying to find him and his family’s murderers, but to no avail. Now, she has returned to her homeland of Romania at hearing Shou and his friend, Prince Souken of the Yamaki clan, have been found, and is looking to see her family friend, and help him out wherever she can.
