Krem’s blush was adorable and something that she knew she would never tire of seeing. He had no reason to be embarrassed, she wouldn’t tell George he’d been looking through the book – it was private information after all. Smiling to herself at his words, Emma was glad to hear that while Krem was very attractive in his armor, but that not too many women had approached him, at least, not women that he was interested in. This told her that he was glad to have caught her attention specifically and that he’d dressed for her. Although, it was safe to assume that he needed to wear the armor for his duties today.
As he took her hand and placed a kiss upon it, she couldn’t stop the blush from coloring her cheeks. Again, she lightly grasped his hand as a silent indication that she liked and appreciated the gesture. While she wasn’t a Lady, she didn’t mind being referred to as one. “You look very dashing today as well. I think I very much like your full armor.” She said with a playful gleam in her eye as she took his offered arm.
Although she hadnt eaten just yet, she had to wonder if there was time for a meal. She didn’t want to arrive at the gates late… “No, I haven’t broken my fast as of yet…Have you eaten, Krem?” Looking up at him, she admired his profile from her shorter height and felt her chest tighten a little with some unknown emotion. "Theres a little bakery near here that should be open...if you like we can stop there, that is, if its on the way to the Academy." In all honesty, she didnt know where they would be heading once they left the Inn.
Krem chuckled lightly as she once more complimented him. "Thank you, looks like this expensive, heavy armor paid off." He'd state, glancing down with her, giving a wink "But seriously, it's quite expensive. Paid for it just before the war... spent all my earnings to get this beaut'." Krem used his free arm to slap against his chest, the clang obvious, and rather loud. He arched his brows in surprise, glancing around "Bloody hell, didn't realize how loud that was..." He'd release a light laugh, ensuring no one was woken by his sudden noise.
"I have eaten, but I can spare a few." Krem remarked, opening the door for the lady and pressing forward into the winter. Thankfully the wind didn't blow them away, much like it had before. "I've been there a few times now, its a lovely place." He'd remark about the bakery. He quite enjoyed the sweets, sometimes he'd get a little something for free, which was always better. The two began their walk to fetch some food, he'd glance over to ensure her cloak on properly, not wanting the women to catch a cold. "Warm enough?" He inquired [exit to the bakery]

Emma’s night had gone much better than she’d originally anticipated. After sharing a meal with the lovely red-head, who turned out to be a guard, specifically a Second Lieutenant named Sarai, she’d received an escort home. Sarai was a very interesting woman and one that greatly intrigued her. Emma didn’t know what it was, but it seemed like she attracted guards…not that she was complaining~.
Curled up in bed, she slowly came awake, a small smile on her face. Emma, knowing that Kayne likely wouldn’t be up as early as he normally was, given how much he’d had to drink the night before, she took opportunity to doze a little and enjoy the warmth of her bed.
After a while, Emma reluctantly slipped from the covers and headed for the bathing chamber to indulge in a hot bath. Once clean and dressed in a warm and comfortable dress, she draped her cloak over her shoulders and headed into the market street. She hadn’t been able to partake in the Jolly Tavern’s breakfast the day before, but she was eager to try it this morning. With that thought in mind, she quickened her pace and headed for the Housing District. Emma was hopeful that she’d see a guard or two at some point during the day…
