                        ↳ Raiment: Mesmerizing Presence
                            Sarai has an overwhelmingly hypnotic presence which bends the minds of whoever gazes upon her to her whim. Her presence has a dominating effect on the minds of beings around them and makes opponents utterly enamored upon being near her. What is happening in the mind of the target is that they are seeing a hallucination of what they perceive to be the most beautiful creature according to their species. As the object of her target’s affections, she has the potential to convince them to do exactly what she desires through the act of suggestive words and instilling the desire to make her happy. Of course, the effect of this raiment wears off eventually. Below is a list of abilities associated with this raiment once the target is under the spell of her illusion.:
                            ↳ Persuasion: Sarai can compel people by speaking, the victims are unable to disobey; the seemingly cogent commandment is far too compelling. However, she can never cause victims to achieve what they are not capable of nor inflict self-harm (ex. Flight). In addition, she must choose her words wisely, as something that is out of place for “the person of the ideal of beauty” for the target might break them out of the trance.
                            ↳ Love Inducement: This is the least favorite of Sarai’s abilities, but when used, she can induce love into others, Effects will vary depending on her mental strength: Those subjected to this ability may develop a strong infatuation for somebody but will remain in control of themselves, or they may feel so much love for somebody that they have an intense desire to make them happy, becoming completely submissive to them. The effect is usually instant, but in some cases, it may slowly take effect the more the victim meets the person. This ability is only effective when the object of the victim’s affection is someone that already exists (therefore, Sarai must have met that someone too).
                            ↳ Lust Inducement: Sarai can induce sexual arousal in others to make them lustful and crave sexual interaction. This power may work with both genders, their sexual interest and people of any age. This ability requires physical contact, is affected by sexual preferences (opposite genders are more likely to be affected than those of the same gender despite the illusion cast by Mesmerizing Presence).

                        ↳ Power: This shows how effective Sarai’s mesmerizing presence truly is once her target is under the effects of her raiment. Signs of someone affected by Sarai’s raiment is their current behavior when interacting with her, especially if it may seem out of character for that person.

                        ↳ Control: Simply put, this is how long Sarai can maintain control over her target(s) before the illusion breaks. After the illusion is done, she suffers a mild headache. In addition, there is a cooldown period until the next time she can use this raiment.

                        1. 15 minutes, 30-minute cooldown, Headache: 10 minutes, 1 minute 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again
                        2. 30 minutes, 45-minutes cooldown, Headache: 20 minutes, 2 minutes 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again
                        3. 45 minutes, 1-hour cooldown, Headache: 30 minutes, 3 minutes 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again
                        4. 1-hour, 1-hour 30 minutes cooldown, Headache: 45 minutes, 4 minutes 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again
                        5. 1-hour 15 minutes, 2-hour cooldown, Headache: 55 minutes, 5 minutes 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again
                        6. 1-hour 30 minutes, 2-hour 30 minutes cooldown, Headache: 1-hour, 6 minutes 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again
                        7. 2-hours, 3-hour 30 minutes cooldown, Headache: 1-hour 30 minutes, 7 minutes 30 seconds for the target to be him/herself again

                        ↳ Range: This primarily affects how many people Sarai can inflict with the effects of her raiment if they are close to her. However, the more people that are affected by her raiment, the harsher the effects of body pain up until 8-9, where the side effects lessen a bit.

                        There's a lot to say about Sarai Kuuma, but the biggest two things to know are that she's passionate and playful. Of course, she's also determined, imaginative and precise, but they're tainted by and mixed with habits of being dominating and irrational as well. Her passion though, this is what she's pretty much known for. Friends frequently count on this and her protective nature whenever they need cheering up. Nobody's perfect of course and Sarai has plenty of less favorable characteristics too. Her obsessive nature and disruptive nature risk ruining pleasant moods beyond what people are willing to deal with. There also times when she acts like a lone wolf even if her intentions are pure and are a result of her protective nature. Fortunately, her playfulness helps lighten the blows and moods when needed.

              𝓑𝓲𝓸𝓰𝓻𝓪𝓹𝓱𝔂
                    Away from a small tribe residing in the Azar Desert, a beautiful baby girl is born. Only the mother (a cook) and father (a hunter) were present during the birth of this child. For them, a choice had to be made. Do they bring their daughter back to the tribe, where they run the risk of having their child discarded, or do they bring back a son who is guaranteed to become a hunter like the other strong men of the tribe? The desire for strong men was strong at the time, and the parents were already so attached to their child, so returning to the tribe with a boy was their only choice. Upon returning to the tribe and persuading their doctor to lie to the chieftain, their “son” Amir was recognized as a member and a hunter. Amir was raised like any other boy in the tribe. His father trained every day with the weapons they had at their disposal, took him on survival trips and assisted him on how to properly handle their kills. Amir would train and play with other boys. Their favorite game to play was called Pankration. This game involved the use of boxing and wrestling techniques against each other, sometimes one on one, other times were chaotic. It certainly wasn’t the prettiest sight to see a bunch of boys beaten and bruised, but for the hunters of the tribe, it was a perfect opportunity to sort out the strong from the weak and continue their training. Amir did not always win, but he was able to keep surviving through sheer will, excellent training and being among the few still fighting to the bitter end.

                    As the years went by, Amir grew older, taller and stronger. His father had died due to a conflict with another warring tribe in Azar, so he had to take over as the provider for his mother and himself. Despite being one of the youngest and most inexperienced hunters, he demonstrated incredible skill and valor during every hunt he participated in. One of the most courageous acts that his tribe recognized him for is when he saved one of his fellow hunters from a cougar attack. This would lead to him receiving a high honor among hunters: ink. He became the youngest member to be inked by the tribe. Although it was painful, Amir admired the artistry behind inking. This led to him visiting the one responsible for inking whenever he had free time and learn from him. It wasn’t inking that he learned to do first. He was taught first how to draw, and that became something he would do whenever he wasn’t out hunting. Of course, he also had the opportunity to observe how the inking process was done since it wouldn’t be until he can retire as a hunter that he might have the chance to ink others. In addition to learning how to paint, he grew fond of the music that his tribe would play, especially the woodwind instruments. Someone in the tribe was kind enough to teach the boy how to play the flute, and that would be something else he added to his repertoire of skills outside of hunting. It would not be when the boy reached eighteen years of age that a significant event will change his life forever.

                    As a seventeen-year-old boy, Amir began to ask his mother questions that she feared he would ask. He always seemed different from the other boys. They were taller than he was, his voice not as deep as theirs, he was always forbidden by his mother and father to bare his chest lest he was covering it with tightly wrapped bandages, and so on. Of course, the mother did not reveal the real reason, just that it was okay to be different. He may not be taller some of the other boys and not allowed to bathe with them nor seek out a partner, but he proved himself time and again that he is still strong and ought to be respected. Still, something did not seem right. When he became eighteen years old, he participated in a big hunt. For him, it was nothing different than usual. The hunt was successful, and the hunters were fortunate to have an oasis close by so that they can bathe. At first, Amir refused to bathe with his hunters because he did not want to disobey his mother, but his friends persuaded him to join them. It was the moment that he and the others undressed that a noticeable difference can be made. At first, his friends were disgusted with him, but then they started looking at him funny. Amir did not know this, but his raiment became active. What his friends saw was desirable beauty, and they would do anything to make that beauty theirs. They rushed him like animals in heat, and all Amir can do was run away.

                    And run he did, and since he broke eye contact with them, the effects of his raiment soon wore off. Of course, not knowing about this, he continued running until he was sure that he lost his former friends. He contemplated on returning to the tribe, but surely his friends must have told everyone about what they saw. He wouldn’t understand until later in his life, but his instincts told him not to go home. Instead, he became a lone survivor in the wilderness, never staying in one place and always moving. With all the skills he learned from his father as well as the other hunters, he did well on his own. His travels led him further away from his home in the Azar Desert and toward the kingdom of Trendel. It would not be until he turned nineteen that he arrived at the kingdom, and for him, it was a whole new world to explore. Upon his arrival, the people were bewildered by this tribal person’s appearance and the same can be said for Amir. He did not understand their ways and resorted immediately to self-defense when too many people approached him. Although he fought valiantly, the guards were able to detain him and lock him away. He remained imprisoned up until a scholarly man took interest in him. Since the guards and other officials could not understand Amir, they brought in someone who had studied the tribes of the Azar Desert. At first, Amir did not trust the man but having someone who can speak to him in his native tongue made him feel less lonely. Over time, he grew to trust this scholarly man and upon request along with money, Amir was set free under the condition that she live with the scholar for a year and learn from him.

                    In one year, Amir learned many things that have helped her integrate into the society that is Trendel. The most important of these things was the ability to speak English. It certainly was one of the most frustrating things to learn, but it was necessary for proper communication to occur between all the people he had to meet daily, and he can’t always rely on the scholar for help. One of his favorite moments from learning the language was able to speak to those who sold delicious sweets without relying on the scholar to help him, something that used to be a strange concept to him. The second most important thing, which is perhaps more personal to Amir than learning English, was regarding his gender. Amir’s life in the tribe led him to believe that he was male despite questions he had regarding the things he did and what he was allowed and not allowed to do with the other men of the tribe. It was like drinking medicine when he found out that he isn’t a boy. Rather, Amir was a girl…or was he? The scholar’s ideas on gender identity being fluid had been largely rejected by many of his peers, but somehow that felt right to Amir. However, that was not a name that they can go by. They needed a new name, and they decided it would be Sarai. Sarai, who decided that for the sake of others that she will mostly regard herself as female, chose a name based on a story about a noble princess who never quit even when all odds were against her. This may not be the last thing she learned in over a year, but learning to control her raiment was certainly important. It is something that she has not fully mastered during that time frame, but one of her major accomplishments was being able to determine who becomes a target and able to turn her raiment on and off whenever she chooses. The practice sessions were a bit awkward, they managed to keep them as professional as possible.

                    The list goes on with everything else that she has learned while living with the scholar, but the year was over, and the two of them knew that Sarai had to leave. How can she continue learning about herself if she remains in one place? She needed to explore, meet different people and cultures, etc. All of this she must do if she wants to find her place in this world. After a teary departure, Sarai set off on a new journey that led her to Eoana, although not before inking herself as a symbol of her change. Her arrival there was like how it was for her in Trendel, although she was much calmer and better prepared. The first thing she had to do was to find work and find work she did as a street musician with her flute. She managed to get by with the little she was being paid, but her life would change once again. A robbery took place on the street corner she was playing at, and Eoana’s guards were nowhere close at the time. Taking the law into her own hands may get her into trouble, but she could not stand idly by and watch these people get away with stealing someone’s livelihood, so she chased down these perpetrators and detained them on her own. Of course, when the guards did arrive, they were tempted to also arrest Sarai, which she would’ve gone along peacefully since she was outnumbered. However, the captain of the guard made sure that Sarai was not arrested. Rather, he was impressed by her ability to handle several dangerous criminals on her own and wanted to further test her himself. Of course, she could not defeat him, but she did not give up until the bitter end. That was enough to convince the captain to offer her position as a guard, a position that she gladly accepted. This for her is a chance to see if this will teach her more about who she is and what her role is in this world.
