Many years ago a brave ninja from Konohagakure, named Kiyoshi, dared to venture out of his village on an important mission from his kage. Delighted the ninja set out for Sunagakure in hopes of becoming well-traveled and well-known for his accomplishments. Upon visiting the sand village he encountered a beautiful young maiden, named Akimi, who served as his guide to the village and in some ways his leash. The talented young woman was to keep her eye on this envoy and insure he caused no trouble. During their time they began to learn more about each other and Kiyoshi found that he was drawn to Akimi's beautiful white tresses and she to his bold and yet caring features. Akimi sought to learn more about the village of Konohagakure and its lush green lands. Endeared by her curiosity Kiyoshi would show the woman a rare blue rose he had found on his travels and explained that flowers were amongst the beauties of the world. He added, in a whisper, that she was even yet more captivating than any he had ever seen. Enchanted by the beauty of the plant and its owner Akimi fell in love with the ninja from another village. It was an almost impossible love.
Yet, as time passed Kiyoshi found a way to visit Akimi as often as possible. On each visit he brought with him a new flower which Akimi stored in a journal within which she would write poems of her love for the traveler. Those flowers always brought her immense happiness among other emotions. In time Akimi and Kiyoshi became almost inseparable and they soon learned that the woman was with child. The ninja could not bare to leave Akimi any longer and decided that his only option was to become a rogue of Konohagakure. The path was not an easy one as the tale of his betrayal began to circulate. It wasn't an understanding time, in which a rogue could merely acclimate to a new village. There was always suspicion of his motives and loyalties. However, for at least a few months the two were able to enjoy their time with one another as Akimi's stomach grew larger by the day. They loved each other with passionate abandon in order to stem the stares of hatred and disgust. Yet, it would not last forever.
On the night Akimi was to give birth to her child Kiyoshi held his beloved's hand as she brought a lovely young babe into the world. The two watched upon the girl with more adoration than could be contained and they decided to name their daughter Bleum after the flowers they all admired. It was only a few hours later when Akimi heard the crash and bang in their fabrics shop which was conveniently attached to their home. Kiyoshi kissed her forehead before going to survey the area. The minutes dragged and he never returned. Anxiety ate at Akimi as she placed Bleum into a basket and went in search of her love. A shrill scream was the only thing heard that night as she gazed in terror at the body of her assassinated lover. The days after that were lacking in joy for Akimi. The only things that brought a smile to her face were Bleum, a golden locket in the shape of a rose, and the journal the two had created together.
As Bleum grew that fact never changed. Very rarely did Akimi smile unless Bleum had something to do with it, and it was as if she had lost the motivation to believe in the world again. It hurt Bleum's soul to see her mother react in such a manner, but it also formed the young woman she is today. Bleum's desires became to use her abilities to bring happiness to those around her and she vowed to see the world for what it could be rather than what it was; optimism and romanticism ruled her beliefs. She dedicated her time to the fabric shop her mother owned ensuring that those who visited felt the luxury and love put into the works created. She also made sure that flowers were regular decor to create an exotic and enticing ambiance.
The story of how Akimi met Loki, her pet fox, stems back to when she was far younger. A young boy had the misfortune to come along a young kit that had strayed too far from its mother. He had approached it in all of his innocence, believing that the two could play. However, as he reached his hand towards the creature the mother fox had appeared and mistaken the scene entirely. Akimi had appeared in time to shield the boy from the mother foxes rage and diffused the situation by singing a calming tune and standing still. As the mother fox had calmed, Akimi had offered the fox and kit a snack she had hidden within her sleeves. For the time being the boy had been saved. However, time and time again Bleum found the small, fluffy white kit had followed her to some place or another.
She believed that perhaps he was in search of the snacks she always carried on her person, but in time the two grew close to one another. The young kit grew by her side and became known as Loki for his trickster ways.

Nindo: "Find the funny." Personality: Umi is a bit of an odd one. He's aloof, quiet, and is entirely obsessed with his companion, Taku, going as far as to share a name. Umi, however, is the more peculiar of the two. He often stays silent until a response is provoked from him and in conversation it seems that sometimes he forgets to speak. Or on the rare occasion he'll finish speaking before concluding his statement. Without much social interaction as a child with anyone but a hyena definitely left him with some quirks. Just like sometimes he'll answer with "ruff" kind of a bark or burst out in a hyena-esque laughter.
As far as getting along with others, it's a slow-building relationship when it comes to getting to know Umi. He is very distrusting of others off the bat, but could warm up to anyone based on the effort given to be his friend. Usually, though, Taku will end up liking someone and that lets Umi know that it's safe to let his guard down a bit more.
The codependency with Taku, however, is everyone's #1 friend turn-off. They sleep together, eat together, bathe together, and even take their potty breaks together. You can't separate them for any reason other than duty, training, or their own, special reasons for the time. The one time it happened, they couldn't handle the anxiety and later vowed that they'd never let themselves be totally cut off from one another again. They made a rule at this point that they always have to be able to hear the other's call or else they're too far from the other.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Takumi's first memories are being hauled through the Land of Fire forests in the back of a wagon driven by bandits. He was born in slavery, no mother or father to remember as they had perished soon after his birth. He wasn't alone, though. A couple of the slaves took turns watching after him to get him through his infancy least, though none of them really took to being the main guardian for the young child. There was, however, a strange occurrence one day. A canine pup was found, much unlike anything that was seen in the land. The bandits kept it in hopes it would fetch a price. The young hyena was tossed back with the others. Scared, helpless, and in a place it would never choose to be in, the young pup kept to the corners, darting back and forth, cowering from the large humans around it. Once her eyes met with the child across the way, she shot forward to nuzzle her way into his arms. At this point in time, Takumi was seven years old and the hyena was just old enough to be left alone for the first time. He probably wouldn't have made it long out in the wild or wherever else he was left behind, but Takumi promised to protect him right then and there. Without anything in the world other than the boy, he was given the only thing in the world Takumi had to part with; his name. He insisted from that point forward that he be referred to as Umi and the hyena take the name Taku. They were not separate in any sense, in fact he insisted they also refer to Takumi as being the two of them together. They'd never leave each other's side again from this point.
It was a couple years later when Umi and Taku were released from their slavery. The bandits that owned them at the time became the target of a Sunagakure squad of shinobi. They were only a few chuunin, but they used such fantastic ninjutsu, at least Umi believed them to be so, that when they brought he and his companion back to the village he asked everyone he could about how to get into the shinobi academy so he could learn to become one too. Of course, he fought tooth and nail to keep Taku with him through every step of this process. There wasn't a second these two were apart.
Life in the village wasn't glorious and glamorous like Umi originally believed it to be, but it wasn't bad. He didn't really find himself having many friends in the community or among his peers. There were a few here and there who were cool, but none really cared for the peculiar personality that boy possessed. On top of that, Hyena's were difficult to exist around when they get restless and many other students at the academy learned that through plenty of warning chomps. Umi and Taku certainly had a reputation in the village.
Beyond their codependency, strange destiny, and strange mannerisms exists a pair that truly belongs together and strives to show the world what they're made of. Umi and Taku graduated and find themselves now beginning their careers in serving the village as shinobi. Only a matter of time before the world know their name.

His father knew something was different about him since he was born with white hair, the kind his mother regularly kept hidden by using dyes. When he was just a baby, his father left him and his mother on their own not wanting to accept a child such as him. Struck with grief, Kumori's mother left him in an orphanage and ran away never to be seen again. Kumori is an interesting child, never really raised with his biological parents. However, he was raised by an adoptive mother who tried to give him everything he ever wanted. As Kumori was getting ready to graduate from the academy, she was tragically taken from him by illness. He was stricken by grief and as when he graduated he was a cold person, enjoying seeing others just as much in pain as he is. The only thing he had left from his mother was an old tattered scarf that he wears at all times, covering his mouth and his white locks often in his face. He was never really an evil person, just doesn't want to get close to anybody so he won't have to feel the pain of losing someone again. Deep down Kumori just wants to express his pain and move past it, but his pride will never allow him. He began to open up to a classmate and once he feared the pain of getting hurt, he made bones sprout from his head like horns and scared them off.... Kumori believes becoming a ninja and seeing the world will give him what his heart is missing.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬┤|н ι ѕ т σ r у|├▬ Sato was born into a nomadic group that roamed the deserts of wind country, training for supplies as needed with both the civilian cities and the Hidden Sand Shinobi. It was on one of the trading stops in Suna that young Sato noticed the shops full of ninja puppets and all the different gadgets the shinobi had built. This pushed the young boy to convince his parents to settle near the village so he could learn more about the machines and how to use them. Eventually earning himself a place in the village ninja academy. In class, Sato proved to be highly intelligent, loving to sit and mess with the training puppets almost couldn't understand; but due to his relative isolation in the group of nomads he lacked most basic social skills. This made him very awkward and avoidant of social interaction overall. Finally he managed to graduate and now looks forward to seeing what he can learn as a Suna Shinobi.
