The once prosperous family of Ourcius owned quite the extravagant manor back in the days before the civil war. The royal knights Thaddeus and Erebus lived here, until their son Ovixus was born. It was then that tragedy struck, and Erebus died after childbirth. Thaddeus was distraught by grief, but wanted to train his son in the ways of combat that both him and Ovixus' mother fought, and as such Ovixus soon grew to be quite the dangerous fighter. Ovixus left the Dark Kingdom shortly after his father killed himself, but to find a purpose in his life. As such the gorgeous manor began to fall apart. No one purchased the land, because by then the kingdom was undergoing the signs of war. The manor itself holds about eight rooms and an underground vault that once stored family treasures and documents, but most of that was raided during the civil dispute. It is believed that the ex-royal knight Ovixus Ourcius still lives today, but no one has seen him since his sudden appearance to Luna's temple, and departure to find his brother.
Rumor has it that the voice of Thaddeus can be heard every few days here, calling out for his deceased wife.

Beatrice walked into the ruins, hoping no one was there for the moment. She was a long ways from home, and wanted to find a place for shelter. She felt something tell her to come to the dark kingdom, hoping she would be able to find someone to help her. She soon started to hear faint music, and brief ghostly images of a dance. She felt as if it were a side effect, having bit of the remaining hours of the dead. She moved to the stair case, and sat down, taking a break for her travel.

Zeno walked into the ruins of the household. He had been traveling through Obsidia, looking for certain items to help him continue his magic, and the Dark Kingdom usually had the things that he was looking for. While he was traveling through the land, he had sensed some powerful magic in this area, darker than much of the magic he had come in contact with. As a fairy, his whole life was around magic. He was exposed to more magic than most of the inhabitants of the whole realm, even exposed to magic that he had never practiced. He had learned how to feel the presence of powerful individuals, and he could sense it in the ruins. Who could possibly be in here? They can't be up to any good. He put his hood on and walked inside.
He traveled through the house, looking at the broken pieces of the house without exposing his face. There were columns eradicated, broken building material scattered across the floor. It was left to be a great mess.
Eventually he came across a little girl. He was taken back with surprise, with disbelief that such a small girl could wield such power. She was most likely inefficient with her work due to her age and probable lack of experience, but whatever magic she practiced must be strong. He didn't approach, instead staying back in the shadows, studying her. He would wait to see what would happen before trying to make contact.

Beatrice held her head. She was hearing someone's though, adding in the remains still dancing. She moved to get up, and her book fell to the bottom of the stairs, soon flipping though the pages, showing lots of forbid necromancy spells and curses. Beatrice quickly rushed to get it, even though she thought she was alone, she didn't want anything to be accidentally released, just in case.

Hololena held onto Nito as he carried her up the steps of the Ourcius mansion, a place that was under protection of the royal family and thus was not permitted to visitors. Alas, she sensed another necromancers' presence here and simply had to investigate. She would not tolerate another necromancer on her family's property. Being as aggressive and territorial as most of them were, competition was likely to get them exposed. So, she decided to drive them out, whoever they were. No necromancer worth their salt would dare harm a princess, someone of good repute and status. If she couldn't make them leave via bluff, she'd drive them out by forcing them into the open. Nito set her on the steps and headed back down the stairs, picking up her wheelchair and carrying it over his head to the top. He set it down and lifted her back up, placing her in the chair and wheeling her inside. The grand mansion was beginning to show its' age and just how neglected it was. The spirit of the man whose wife died lingered, and Hololena didn't like to bother him. Which meant no one else was allowed to. Nito's teeth chattered at the book dropping to the bottom of the stairs, alerting Hololena to the you girl's presence. She raised her eyebrow. This girl was far younger than she was and by the looks, out of her depth. "Trespassing on my family's property? You will have more to worry about than exposure, you know." Hololena said clearly.

She had heard him as he was walking past. She didn't say anything, but she started to get up in what Zeno assumed was an attempt to greet him. In her haste, she dropped a book, and hurried to pick it back up before it could be seen. It must be a spellbook, the source of her magic, he thought. That narrowed down her practice some, but there were still endless possibilities. He was about to greet the young girl when a clear, threatening voice cut through the air.
He looked over at the origin of the voice. It came from another girl, almost as pale as the younger one but with blue eyes and brown hair. Her eyes came with a story that was filled with anger. Her aura came with an even more powerful magic shining through her. After a bit of thought, he came to realize who the other girl was. The Dark Princess! His eyes widened through the darkness of his cloak. What is she doing here! He didn't know much about her, but if a royal were here, that would also mean that she would have some sort of guard. Dark Kingdom Guards were unpredictable, which worried Zeno. Instead of greeting them, he remained in the shadows, watching to see what may happen.
Beatrice was caught off guard when the lady entered the room. She felt powerful magic around the lady, and guessed she was at least a noble, due to the quietness of her mind. "I... I'm sorry. I don't really know my way around, and I was scared to go to an inn, since I don't have any money. I didn't know this belonged to you." Beatrice said nervously. She held the book, in fear of what she might find out. She could see the dancing, but she managed to mask it for a bit.

The princess wasn't convinced that she was just lost. The Ourcius House had many secrets in it that would appeal to any scholar of necromancy. The last man who came here was searching for the Dark Brooch, but he was disappointed. Well, at least Hololena got a nice skeleton out of him. "Cute. But I'm really going to need you to leave immediately. I'm sure whatever you did to the guards can be forgotten, but I don't forgive trespasses. And fairy, you better leave as well." Hololena's eyes focused on the figure hidden in the shadow, "You of all creatures should know that I hate fairies." Hololena looked back to the girl in front of her. Nito chattered his teeth threateningly, ready to attack if the need arose. There was no doubt that Hololena is strong, but she was also being watched carefully. Any scratch would set her father off and she really didn't need him in a bad mood.

The young girl seemed to be very nervous towards the princess. She must really not know how to use her magic, he thought. He couldn't blame her though; the princess was a scary individual. No one knows if she has any type of craft she practices, but everyone knows that she's not one to mess with. It could, however, just be the protective veil of her father that makes her threatening, although that's a major threat in itself. The princess had called both of them out, ordering them to leave the temple.
Zeno stepped out of the shadows, hoodie still covering his face. This princess was smart, she knew much more than he had thought. He wondered what her intentions were, if she were to actually let them leave or if she was to attempt to kill them as they tried to walk away. He pretended to be offended when she mentioned her disdain for fairies. My my, such a threatening tone. One wonders what fairies did to deserve such hatred from such a influential person. He smiled a bit, slightly mocking her, while also curious why she actually doesn't like fairies.

Beatrice soon felt a stabbing pain in her head. she left herself open to long, and the thoughts of the long dead guests poured in. She crashed to her knees, and her book dropped onto the floor. It bounced a bit closer to Hololena, flipping half way through it's pages, and found an empty page. Wit it starting to have words appere I greet thy, my lady. it wrote,

Unfazed, Hololena picked up the book and closed it, handing it to Nito to put on a table. She looked at the fairy, who she felt was probably the dumbest fairy she ever met, not understanding why people hated them. "You shouldn't ask questions you already know the answer to. And I'm fully prepared to raise a signal if you don't leave in five minutes." Hololena was in a rather bad mood now. Nito's teeth chattered again, this time a bit louder. Hololena pulled out a small locket with a glow, "Once I open this, every guard in the city will come to my rescue. Promotions are a tantalizing reward."

Zeno started to laugh. Of course she didn't like fairies. They were some of the most mischievous characters In the whole realm. You're right. I do know the answer to that question She had threatened to raise an alarm against them. On the contrary, it excited him. She threatened him, which gave him the right to cause chaos, at least in his mind.
You're going to raise a signal huh? He had noticed that the girl had collected the book, the same very book that was causing the young one to go mentally insane. He figured that it must possess great power. This meant that it also possessed great leverage. Speaking of raise, I'd like to play a game similar to blackjack, except without the cards. You bet one army, and I raise your army by possession of that book you've got on that table. He pointed at the book, then held out his hand, using a conjuring spell to poof it into his hand with a dark blue cloud of smoke. Hmm. This is interesting. I wonder what the book is about. I imagine it tells a wonderful story.. He giggled, taunting the princess. He knew she already didn't like him, and he couldn't wait to see how she would respond.
Beatrice was soon getting over the head pain, though when she was about to get the book, it disappeared. She soon noticed it went into the fairy's hand. "Please give me my book back." Beatrice pleaded. She didn't want him to know it's contents. She tried to pull the book out of his hands, and into hers, though she accidentally made a skeleton grab his wrists, nervous that she was getting two things mixed up.

Again, her eyebrow raised in disdain. She wasn't interested in games with these people. The book didn't even belong to Hololena, so what did it matter to her that he wanted it? She seemed surprised by the other girl's outburst, using a skeleton to grab at him. It was almost laughable, seeing as he was a fairy. Grabbing a fairy or cornering them was like cornering a wild animal. Either way, she was done here. "Well, if you two will excuse me...." She loosed the signal, a bright light enveloping the room and illuminating the manor. It was only a time before the guards arrived and if they did, they had better hope that they were gone. Nito wheeled the princess out of the manor, his teeth chattering underneath his cloak. If he could speak, he would have many things to say about the meeting, but Hololena would not permit him to have a voice.

When Zeno had gotten the book from the table, it had gotten more of an outburst from the little girl instead of the princess. She had asked for it back, reaching out her hand and grabbing him with skeleton hand. He yanked his arm away, causing the skeleton arm to break apart. Normally he would've gotten mad, but he still had unfinished hijinks with the princess. He turned to the little girl. Don't worry, I'm not done talking to you. He then followed the princess out.
He knew that he couldn't get away with any harmful pranks, seeing as she was a princess. Because of that, he decided to go for some old fashioned annoying. Aw, where are you going so soon princess? Who's this character wheeling you around. What's your name sir? Why isn't he talking? Can you not talk? Ohh you're mute, aren't you? I bet you'd like to be able to talk, wouldn't you? He barraged the princess and her helper with useless questions, leaving enough space in between for only the briefest answers. He was determind to get under her skin.
