"Valdemar, Dark Pulse!" Sub commanded of his mighty dragon, the savage beast taking flight until it was above Thul, from there it would unleash a stream of pulsating dark energy from its main head, the vile energy filled with sinister thoughts. "Griswald, you're next. Dream Eater, let's dissuade Jack from his ambitions...and unfortunately Odd as well." The Dark One ordered as Griswald the Spiritomb rose up from his shadow with a cackle, the Forbidden Pokemon launching its self towards the sleeping Odd, the sinister now hovering over the helpless Ghost Channeler as it began to literally suck the dreams right out of him, his and Jack's included. Hopefully that would for now calm Jack enough so that Odd could take back over.
"Cera! I need you! It's time to Channel again." Sub called out to the Mew. Oh boy, Cera was going to go psychotic again. "Get ready to Transform." The man alerted her, he was going to take Thul out here and now and if all went well close the portal at the same time.
As Thul was pelted with the onslaught of attacks he was starting to show signs of weakening, especially thanks to the Toxic that was slowly eating away at it, purple veins now showing up across its body. However, the massive ghoul was not down yet as the Jellicent unleashed a massive Omnious Wind all around it, catching Valdemar as well as Rein's Pokemon in the otherworldly gust, sending them flying away as well as inflicting ethereal damage against them.

However, the massive ghoul was not down yet as the Jellicent unleashed a massive Omnious Wind all around it, catching Valdemar as well as Rein's Pokemon in the otherworldly gust, sending them flying away as well as inflicting ethereal damage against them. "Huh? Wait a second, we're actually doing this? Again?" After last time and the effects that it all had, being told to Transform for a bout of channeling was something she began to see as the "nuclear option." Definitely an ace in the hole, but one that wasn't without its dangers and cost. Still, circumstances like this didn't exactly give one other options.
She'd instead nod after a second, knowing that there wasn't any time to waste. Able to get her energy to match Sub's through a prompt Reflect Type, she'd take a deep breath before beginning to focus with everything she's got. "Yanno what, I've only got one thing to say to you," she said to Thul, Jill, and- if he could hear her- Jack, as she'd eventually transform, the Mew changing entirely until she became a perfect copy of Sub. Safe to say, such a thing was taxing even now.
"Die, monsters. You don't belong in this world. I'm ready when you are, Sub!"

The slowly stirring body of Odd was hit with Griswald's Dream Eater quickly enough and it proved to be plenty effective as, once the body was awake, crimsons eyes darted around the area, getting a handle on things. Thul was here. Jill was near. Sub and Cera were about to haul out the biggest guns they had. This was not going to end well. It took a few more seconds before he felt stable enough for it but he released Cadenza after a moment and nodded to him. "I need you to possess my body for this."
~If I do that so soon after Jack did, you could die!~ Cadenza replied, apprehensive about this.
"Doesn't matter. If we don't do it and Thul, Jack and Jill get through that portal, the Land Above is screwed. Royally." Odd retorted before releasing his other Pokemon. "Everyone! I need to borrow as much of your spiritual energy as you can afford!" He called, not just to his Pokemon but to the entirety of Snagem. He might be able to pull from them through Cadenza's ability to draw spiritual energy from the very air itself, especially here in this in-between plane. With all of his Pokemon, Cadenza, Treble, Adagio, Baroque, Chorale and Affannoso , out of their balls and at his side, he prepared for what was to come.
"You lot, we are amongst the Living! We must abide by their rules!" He declared in regards to their attempts to enter the realm of the living. "In the Land Above, the dead are forbidden to walk the Earth. You want to come back?" He asked as he threw his arms out to his sides, accepting Cadenza's entry as the Shed Pokemon possessed his body. At least he left Odd in control of their now shared form.
~We're not ready for this, Sterling!~ He warned again before doing as he knew he would be asked and channeling every ounce of spiritual energy he could through himself and into Odd.
~Again. It doesn't matter. If we don't do this, there's a good chance we're all going to die and I'll be damned if I allow these three to hurt my friends.~ Odd retorted before a silvery sliver of chi began to snake from both hands, looping around him into a perfect ring. With the ring, the space inside it began to glow an opaque silver-white as it was filled with Ghostly chi. Though it was unlike normal. Rather than powering spiritually aware entities such as Channelers and Ghost-type Pokemon, it was imbued with Odd's desire to protect and to disbar other spirits from the space.
Ending his internal dialogue with Cadenza, the channeler condensed the ring around him into a tiny little thing, perhaps the size of a ring one might wear on their finger. "Again, you want to walk the Earth once more? Go through Hell and come out on the other side." He stated before pressing his spirit against the shrunken Guardian Halo in his hands. It rocketed out towards the portal to the living world, where it instantly grew to encircle the thing, the disc of silver-white light withing expanding now into an opaque sphere around it, consecrating the area and repelling any and all spirits attempting to pass through. Normally this would not block spirits of great strength like Thul or even Jack and Jill if they worked together but due to the close bond formed by Cadenza's possession and the amount of energy borrowed from his Pokemon and his friends, it should prevent all things spiritual from passing through for quite a long time. Maybe not forever but he should be strong enough to reseal it every year if he had to until he could properly close it.
There was only one major problem now. As Cadenza emerged from his body, Odd called to his allies, dropping to his knees in the process. "Run! Go through the portal now before they catch you!"

Sub was prepared to take this fight to the next level, to join forces with Cera and fight to hell and back (literally) not only Thul and the Hallow couple but also every single spirit that tried to make it through the portal into their world. However, it would seem that this was not necessary as Odd pulled off a feat that not even Sub knew was possible, let alone the fact that Odd did it. The Ghost Channeler had managed to become in perfect sync with his Shedinja and actually managed to start the process of sealing the portal, from the inside no less. As impressed with the Ghost Channeler as he was now was no time to congratulate him.
"You better make it back out!" Sub told the man as grabbed Rein and literally threw him over his shoulder. "Grab Allen, Cera, and let's get out of here." That man said as he took Rein and made a mad dash for the closing portal, jumping through and appearing in the Lost Hotel on the other side, specifically Countess Pump's room, which was strangely empty, the greater hotel feeling eerily quiet.

"Right!" Thinking nothing of it, Cera grabbed Allen and hefted him over her shoulder before racing for the portal. Managing to jump through it to get herself and Allen to safety, she'd turn around to see the still-closing path between worlds. Oddly, she'd see the Drifloon that had been tagging along this whole time come through the portal, having made up its mind about its allegiances. But this still left more important matters.
"You think he's gonna be able to get out of there?" The transformation was still going strong for the moment, as was the channeling link between her and Sub. Given the circumstances, she wasn't about to drop it until she absolutely had to.
