Beach Blossom x Apple Drizzle — First Meeting
ILiveWireI| Driz pulled his cart into the town square and looked about for a good place to set up. He could see other ponies about but the place wasn't packed so he picked out an available section that seemed ideal to get some hoof traffic and trotted over. He hummed as he busied himself setting up his cart before he began to carefully arrange his assortment of candied apples. More that a bit in his own little world.
Starshine| Beach Blossom trotted into the town square looking around. It looked like there was a small town square market happening to be honest this was her first time going to a town square market. It intrigued her to see what sort of things ponies were selling from the looks of it the hoof traffic was very minimal so she would be able to get around to all the vendors without running into somepony as she progressed through.
ILiveWireI| Once Driz had finished his arrangement he took several steps backwards to apricate his handy work only to bump right into somepony else. Startled, but realizing the fault was entirely on him his turned around, apology starting before he had even seen the other. "Oh, I'm sorry. You okay? "
Starshine| Beach Blossom blinked as felt another pony bump into her. She tilted her head to the side a bit, it seemed like the pony was looking at the end result of his handy work. "That's okay. I'm good I have no injuries to report to you" she answered. She paused to look at what this particular pony was selling and it looked like something sweet.
ILiveWireI| Driz offered her a wide smile. "Nope!" He confirmed his lack of injuries with a quick look over. "I can just get a bit lost in my work at times." He said with a faint blush. Then he caught her looking at his display and grinned steeping towards it. "Do you like candied apples? I've got many kinds, I'm sure there is one that fits your tastes perfectly." He gestured at the neat rows of apples covering in various delicious things.
Starshine| Beach Blossom returned the smile "Well, that's good. I mean it would suck if you did get injured in the process, but i'm sure you've done it several times without injury." she told him. "I can't say I have had any recently I don't actually know any good places that offer candied apples." she answered thinking about it for a bit. He did look like he had a wide variety of candied apples before trotting to the neat display of them and looking to see what kind jumped out at her. "hm....do you have any recommendations?" she asked him.
ILiveWireI| He nodded acknowledge her words and trotted around to the other side of his stand. "Well, the classic Carmel is always a favorite of mine. But i've also go ones with all kinds of nuts and this ones's got chocolate and pretzel a crunchy treat. Though I've also got a hayfy apple that's pretty darn amazing if I do say so." He grinned as he indicated each apple as he spoke about it. He was very clearly happy to talk about his apples and would probally go on and on about them if one let him ramble.
Starshine| Beach Blossom nodded her head in acknowledgement as he described each one "They all look so tasty and delicious, its so difficult to choose" she told him but a few moments of debating in her head she decided to start with the classical "I think I will give the classic one try" she told him. Since it was her first time having a candied apple, it was a better choice to go with classic and start from there and work her way to the other flavors.
ILiveWireI| Drizz beamed. "Great choice. YOu can never go wrong with the classics." He nodded and packed away the selected caramel apple into an easy to carry decorative box. He then extended it out to her to take with a delighted sparkle in his eyes.
Starshine| Beach Blossom took watched him pack the said caramel apple into a easy to carry decorative box for her and took it from him "thank you, you packed it so nicely" she told him with a smile.
ILiveWireI| Driz's grin widened and a light blush came to his cheeks. "Well thank you and your welcome too." He replied brightly. He had ever so much enjoyed this work and others apricating it made him all the more happy.
Starshine| Beach Blossom smiled at him before realizing that she should introduce herself on rare occasion she sees him again “my name is Beach Blossom, by the way” she told him.
ILiveWireII "Oh!" He had completely forgotten to introduce himself before he had started trying to sell the girl he had bumped into some of his wares. His cheeks flushed and as he tried to quickly come around his stand to greet her properly, if not late, he tripped over his own hooves and found himself on the ground. He laughed as he pulled himself up. "I'm okay." He assured her as he found his hooves again. "Name's Apple Drizzle, but you can just call me Driz." He said with smile, his blush still tinging his green cheeks.
Starshine| Beach Blossom giggled a little "I'm glad you are okay" she told him. "Pleasure to meet you Apple Drizzle" she answered returning the smile. Driz in his own unique way intrigued her. She tilted her head to the side a bit as she noticed a pink tinge on his green cheeks, it seemed like he was a a little flustered. "I look forward to enjoying this caramel apple" she told him. Perhaps in his company but she didn't want to intrude when customers came to buy some of his wares
ILiveWireI| Driz's blush became greater as she giggled adorably, even though at his expense. "Please do! Let me know what you think." He was genuinely excited and that missed with his embarrassment and honestly he wasn't sure if there was something more in there. Guess he would have to wait and see. He rubbed the back os his neck as he opened his mouth to speak again. "U-um, Beach Blossom, would you maybe like to get dinner sometime?" His face fully flushed as he heard the words leave his mouth.
Starshine| Beach Blossom looked at him intently before speaking up “Are you asking me out on a date? If that is the case then I would love to go out for dinner with you Driz” she answered with a smile. She was excited to get to know him more and see if something more came out of it.
ILiveWireI| Driz blushed harder, though at this point the extra red wasn't really noticeable. Fortunately, she didn't drag it out since he didn't know if his rapidly beating heart could have taken it without exploding. The rest of her reply brought a smile to his lips and he nodded before his mind could arrange for a verbal reply. "Yes, I am" He finally said trying to sound calm. "What kinds of food do you like?"
Starshine| Beach Blossom giggled a little as he got flustered some more, he was so adorable when he got flustered. “To be honest I thought you would never ask” she told him admittedly. Before she replied to his question she thought about it for a bit “well, I do like sweets like candy and ice cream, you can never wrong with those, I also like pasta.” She told him. She tilted her head to side and looked at Driz. “How about you, what foods do you like?” She asked him.
Sea Dreamer x Peppermint Bark — First Meeting
ILiveWireI| Peppermint entered the square wearing his saddlebags. He was prepared to sample goods from the local market. Though truth be told he was more interested in taking notes on the vendors and how they ran things. He loved studing various business practices from books but in person studies were often much more interesting and educational. It was hard to pass up the chance. So he had been sure to pack his parchment and quills just in case. But as he looked around he pushed his glasses up his nose and frowned slightly. He hoped this wasn't all and he was just early, since the sad assortment of sellers didn't seem particularly booming.
Starshine| A few minutes after Beach Blossom arrived Sea Dreamer had arrived she too trotted into the town square frowning a bit, it seemed the local market that was running in the town square had a low outcome. It was sort of depressing in a way, she shook her head lightly as she proceeded to trot around the very minimal vendors seeing what they had to offer. Some she saw were selling sweets, others were selling things like accessories that complimented a pony or even a pony's outfit. She swished her tail to and fro idly as she scanned around seeing if anything interested her.
ILiveWireI| Peppermint had taken up a position off to the side of the main traffic area and pulled out a scroll and quill. Sitting down he began to scrawl across it was his elegant script in a much smaller size than one might have thought him capable. He carefully noted each stall and how the few ponies about were navigating the place. He was determined to at least learn a lesson on how not to run a market if nothing else. Though he looked up at one point and though he had origianally just looked back to his paper he blinked and looked up at what had caught his eye. 'wow' he thought as he looked over the unicorn then found himself staring at her wings as if mesmerized by them. He had heard of wings such as those but hadn't ever had the chance to see them before.
Starshine| Sea Dreamer would have preferred there to be more activity but I suppose it depended on the day and the weather. She shrugged it off and noticed somepony sitting off to the side who looked like he was taking notes on something. It was the first time she had seen somepony sit off to the side in something like this usually there were hustle and bustle everywhere but this particular pony didn't seem like he was hugely too interested. It intrigued her so she decided to go find out what he was fascinated by. She trotted over to him "Hello, How are you?" she asked him.
ILiveWireI| Peppermint had looked back to his work as starting was rude, at least by his standards. Though he was found he had lost his train of thought and was about to set his quill down to clear his mind and refocus on his task when a voice startled him. His head popped up and pushed his slightly ajar glasses back into place before giving her a gentlemanly smile. "Oh, hello there miss." He returned the greeting warmly as he lowered his paper. It was hard to not notice this was they very stunning mare he had been admiring just moments ago. He hoped he hadn't upset her. "May I be of assistance?" He inquired hoping his mild embarrassment hadn't pinkened his cheeks.
Starshine| Sea Dreamer tilted her head at him "Hello! How are you today?" she asked him. She was curious about what he was writing down but she didn't want to be rude. She then shook head lightly "Not with anything in particular. I just saw you sitting off to the side and was curious as to what you were doing. Sorry..If I intruded on anything important that was not my intention" she told him politely.
ILiveWireI| Peppermint blinked and tried not to blush. Had he really stood out that much sitting here. He cleared his throat and smiling he replied. "It's no trouble, I assure you. I was just doing a bit of on the site learning." He held up his scroll where he had drawn a detailed layout of the stalls and scrawled notes next to each. With more under the diagram.
Starshine| Sea Dreamer padded closer to him to take a look at his drawing and then back at the local market then back at the drawing “You followed the layout to a tee and looks pretty good. My name is Sea Dreamer by the way” she told him.
ILiveWireI| Pepper couldn't help but smile at the compliment, though he already was quite confident in his work. "Why thank you." He replied with a charming smile. He tucked away the scroll and stood. He gave her a slight respectful bow of his head. "Peppermint Bark, a pleasure to be meeting you Sea Dreamer. The name suits one as lovely as you."
Starshine| Sea Dreamer was a little surprised that he bowed to her, no pony she has met has bowed to her after they introduced themselves and she had to admit she appreciated it. That just meant he was proper gentleman. "Pleasure to meet you Peppermint Bark." she thought about his name that almost sounded like it was an appropriate name for him. She flushed a bit at his compliment "Oh, why thank you" she answered.
ILiveWireI| Pepper smiled charmingly. "You're welcome, my lady Sea Dreamer." He replied naturally. "So, would you like to walk this market with me?" He asked, extending a hoof to her. He didn't know if the stunning mare would care to join him, but it was worth a shot.
Starshine| Sea Dreamer returned the smile before blushing a bit at what he called her “oh I would love to, I was waiting to see if you would “ she told him with a smile. She took his offered hoof “ lead the way Sir Pepper” she told him. To be honest she didn’t walk marketplaces very often perhaps because marketplaces popped up so rarely.
ILiveWireI| Pepper couldn't stop the grin as she replied in the affirmative. Then a very faint blush crept onto his own cheeks as she called him sir. It made him feel like some kind of knight in shinning armor for a moment, a notion he much liked to be honest. "Then I shall show you the best this small market has to offer." His little study session it seemed would yield more than one result today, a thought that also please him greatly.
Starshine| Sea Dreamer couldn’t stop smiling it seemed like her excursion to the central plaza gave her more to look forward to. “I look forward to it” she told him eagerly. She wasn’t expecting to run into a perfect gentleman since they are hard to come by but it was an experience that would never be forgotten and it was a good surprise.
